It never ceases to amaze me how willing the morons are to trade years of their lives for small amounts of cash or low-value material goods. They should each get a year or two of prison time, see if they think whatever they thought they were getting was worth it.
Great example of why everyone should get a CCW buy a nice gun and learn how to use it and carry it.
At least they were nice enough to, more or less, introduce themselves on camera-and then post it online. They deserve some points for “cooperating” with college officials and the police.

The last I was in was in the late 90s outside a bar, Rudy’s, where one dude was REALLY hurt. (He was fine in the end.)
What’s odd to me is: what could they possibly be fighting about? In my day we fought about something, someway, through a drunken haze, that must have had to do with a woman. It was ALWAYS about a girl.
Who the hell would fight over shoes, or steal a pair for that matter? And why did the other fellow not fight back?
I am left not with the impression that these guys are “animals” or that I need a gun to defend myself from their ilk; rather that they are pussies, and deranged, materialistically emasculated ones at that.

In Massachusetts? Good luck with that. You have to get the permission of your local police chief in Mass. to even BUY a gun, and a conceal / carry permit would be next to impossible to obtain.
Not a problem here in Maine.....the best thing Maine ever did was to break away from Massachusetts in 1820. Now if we could only elect two new senators.....

Good post. It is not only black culture that has suffered. The video exemplifies an attitude that now permeates everywhere: the law of the jungle. Savage violence is not only tolerated as a means of fulfilling every urge, it is celebrated.
It is foolish to suggest that there is a single cause for this, but the moral relativism of the liberals starting with the “beat” generation and seeping into academia, Hollywood, television, “art” has now found full-throated confirmation in the hyena howls and laughter of these viral wildings that are spreading on the internet daily.
Black culture has long been drinking from the same poisoned well. Liberals taught them to nurture grievance, hatred and bitterness and that it was perfectly acceptable, even admirable to seek redress in violence rather than the rule of law. Culturally this coalesced in the uninhibited thuggery, racism and misogyny of the hip-hop scene. The yutes in that video are merely acting out everything they learned from their heroes on MTV and other rap outlets. Instead of a civilized society reacting with horror at violence, it is seen as high entertainment and affirmation of the manly virtues of the thugs.

I don’t know what the law is in Massachusetts, but in Georgia the following would apply:
Assault (hitting the victim with a closed fist).
Felony assault (hitting the victim with the shoe).
Theft (stealing $200 shoes).
And for the peanut gallery, obstruction charges could be filed.
All of which begs the question: Did the university pursue criminal charges against the attacker?
Some punk stole his shoes from his room, he saw him wearing the shoes, beat him up and took his shoes back.
If Clint Eastwood did this for his boots in a spaghetti western, we'd all be cheering.
The guy went overboard in the beatdown, and that would certainly merit a suspension from school. And the kids cheering an hooting are just run of the mill massholes.
But for me the lesson is, if you steal another man's shoes, you might get your ass whipped.
