My grandfather's cousin, Gordon Dodds, was an enlisted soldier stationed at the Schofield Barracks during the attack, and he ended up taking a bullet through the foot. Sent back to the States to recover, he was sent to Fort Knox, where he became an armor officer with the 6th Armored Division.

He passed away a few years ago, but I was fortunate enough to have recorded an interview I made with him when he stayed with my grandparents while attending the Super Sixth's last reunion.

You are fortunate indeed. Before he passed away in the early 90’s my grandfather made an audio recording of his experiences that day. My brother is in the process of converting it over to a file. I hope to make a dedication page someday.

Good evening, Stonewall...

Our thanks to Gordon Dobbs for his service to our country.

Good for you to have gotten a recorded interview.

Good morning, Stonewall. Thanks for sharing that.
