Rep. Darrell Issa, who has been investigating the Fast and Furious operation for nearly a year, declined on Friday to call for Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. to resign over the botched undercover probe that led to hundreds of weapons being walked to gun smugglers in Mexico.
Mr. Issa, California Republican, said the operation is not about Mr. Holder or Assistant Attorney General Lanny Breuer, the head of the Justice Departments criminal division, both of whom he has criticized strongly over their handling of the failed Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) investigation.
It is not about one person, said Mr. Issa, chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, during a breakfast hosted by the Christian Science Monitor.
It is about a failure that seems to be pervasive within Justice that investigations play fast and loose with the expectations of what is right or wrong when it comes to what I am going to call collateral damage, he said.
In addition to as many as 1,400 weapons that found their way into Mexico, other guns including AK-47 semi-automatic assault rifles have been found at crimes scenes, including two at the site of the shooting death of U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian A. Terry, killed during a gunfight with Mexicans just north of the border near Nogales, Ariz.

Everyone involved belongs in prison, no scratch that, should get a free blindfold and cig on their way to the wall.
The corruption never ends.
Issa response was friday morning, and the document dump was later friday afternoon. Say goodbye to the dick holder.
It was not freaking BOTCHED! It went exactly as they planned it, until they got caught. This needs to be shouted from the moutaintops. Holder should be doing prison time.
This is a smooth move by a (sometimes) bad actor.
Yep, after all Issa’s talk, I thought we would get some tough action from him regards the Administration. With ‘pubbies like these, we don’t need eunuchs.
So that’s it? Issa investigates and investigates, and in the end he won’t even *recommend* that Holder step down?
If I read this right, anticlimactic is an understatement.
Issa is the point man in this whole investigation. The Democrats are already trying to say he has no interest in Wide Receiver while going full boar on Fast and Furious.
If Issa called on Holder to resign just days before the former is set to grill the latter, cries of partisanship would be deafening.
It would be FOOOLISH for Issa to call on Holder to resign right now.
Perhaps you should get on all those other congressmen / senators who aren’t on the list yet.
Betcha Holder won't be able to get a single Dem on Capitol Hill to return his calls this weekend. They hear the bus coming.
...and all these political morons wonder why people are generally fed-up?
I’m not holding my breath..
I guess the enveloped arrived.

It is hard to imagine a more stupid or more dangerous way of making decisions than by putting those decisions in the hands of people who pay no price for being wrong.

I am amazed and yet not surprised that these testicle-less repubs can’t even prosecute a crime. Boner....McChinless..Cantor the cantdo........They were given an amazing victory in 2010 and they are scared like bunny rabbits that the nyt will talk bad about them. How the heck much do conservatives have to do to keep the rino republican party afloat? You may disagree with me about the weather in denmark, but these turds have to go. Where the heck is the cut-off of money to obamacare? They keep paying.
The question is,
did the envelope contain money or pictures???
I’ll supply the rail. Who’s got some tar and feathers?
