Washington (CNN) – President Obama announced Friday the federal government and private sector partners will invest $4 billion over the next two years in energy upgrades to buildings across the country, an initiative the White House says will create several thousand new construction jobs.

The president made the announcement on the top floor of a building currently under renovation and only steps from the White House with former President Bill Clinton at his side.

Oh, like we trust Obama OR Clinton with $4 billion.

Seriously, look at the comparison of France and the US on Zero Hedge. We simply keep have the government spending, particularly when we find that it all goes to Democratic donors.

France Sovereign Debt Downgraded – Debt to GDP Breaks 90%! (But US at 96% Debt to GDP)

Ahh yes, another play on the “invest” meme. It’s never spending, it’s always “investing”.

Without fail, you can NEVER trust Obama and his lying figures. But in this case, we can make an exception.

Lets assume that 4 billion bucks will create 4 thousand jobs.  That a million dollars that Obama will spend - just to create one freaking job.

I am having some insulation work done in my cellar right now, in the hopes that the investment will pay itself back in saved energy usage—fuel oil, firewood, and pellets.

I’m not holding my breath for this new “energy investment,” because somehow or other the money never seems to come my way. Always goes to someone else. Clintonoids and Obamabots, presumably.

More make work. We need real industry not buffing up what we already have such as existing roads and existing buildings. This is embarrassing. In China, Korea and germany they build new things, they don’t sit around polishing old apples trying to put a shine on them

FOUR billion dollars we do not have for government buildings we don’t need, housing government workers that we cannot rid ourselves from, collecting salaries and benefits we likewise cannot afford, doing jobs that don’t need doing, harassing citizens they don’t want to serve, to take our resources, our freedom and our collective lives.

PTHWATTTTT!!

A BIG “razzberry” for this idea, and not a serious proposal if the intention is to produce a steady job stream lasting from year to year.

A partnership with private capital, and some kind of incentive to make the proposed program desirable from the point of view of economics, i.e., the actual number of dollars spent in a year’s time are LESS than the cost of the improvements over their actual lifetime, would work, but why is this defined as a “jobs bill”? As presented, it is a “make-work” good for maybe a year. Then all the money is gone, evaporated, with nothing to show for it, except it was borrowed money, and we now have to pay it all back.

With interest. To people who don’t even like us very much.

If the buildings don’t belong to the government (tax payers) why is the government paying the tab? Answer: just more of the same old scam from our political elite class of using (steeling) tax payer money for kickbacks to trickle down to the same old crooks. Not that I’m calling the Obozo and Slick crooks.

Create several thousand (temporary) new jobs while killing hundreds of thousands of permanent jobs. What a steaming pile of obama.

We have already been down this road SEVERAL times!! This is just another scheme by zero to give another $4 Billion taxpayer dollars to his cronies who will funnel half of it back to him and use the rest to pay their top exces big bonuses before declaring bankruptcy.

If Obama were Pinocchio, his nose would be about 147 feet long by now and he would have hired a “nose czar” a long time ago to help him hold his nose up!!
