Ridiculous Lawsuit Against NY State Gay Marriage Allowed To Proceed (Barf Alert!)

Six months later, and some conservatives are still freaking out about gay marriage in New York—first, state clerks who opposed the move jumped ship, and now, an upstate judge has ruled that a lawsuit seeking to overturn the marriage equality law can proceed.
The gist of the lawsuit, filed by conservative group New Yorkers For Constitutional Freedoms (you may recall them rushing to the defense of another state clerk who refused to marry same-sex couples), is that Governor Cuomo and the Republican majority in the State Senate were sketchy in the days leading up to the passage of the law. Specifically, it alleges that some officials "held meetings in violation of the state’s Open Meetings Laws, financial support was promised to win Republican votes, the bill bypassed senate committees, and the governor unjustifiably issued a message of necessity to expedite the vote and avoid the normal three-day waiting period for a bill." It's a nice little legal work-around to talk around the fact that these people think gay marriage is wrong.
Acting Justice Robert B. Wiggins of State Supreme Court in Livingston County, in the Finger Lakes region, declared that there was enough evidence that the "open meeting laws" had been violated to proceed with the suit. “It is ironic that much of the state’s brief passionately spews sanctimonious verbiage on the separation of powers in the governmental branches,” Justice Wiggins wrote, “and clear arm-twisting by the Executive on the Legislative permeates this entire process.” Harsh words, but same-sex marriage advocates were unfazed: “Some extremist groups are making a desperate attempt to stop the rocket ship of equality with a few feathers in the wind,” Ross D. Levi, the executive director of the Empire State Pride Agenda, told the Times. “But we are confident they will not succeed.”

Hopefully to be known in the future as "Ender" Wiggins for ending the perversion and fraud of "homosexual-marriage".

Remember just a few months back in Wisconson when the libs held up the collective bargoning bill in the courts claiming it's passage violated the open meeting laws? Maddow was hot on that one, less sympathetic with this challenge I bet.
As I recall they got some rich NY Republican support on passing this homo marriage act.

“Gay” incest. You know it will be soon be against the law to disapprove of it.
They look so much alike, it helps to prove how narcissistic homosexuality ultimately is.

The double standards are beyond belief. But as we know a true condition. Obviously there are many registered Republicans that may feel conservative on say business issues and be totally out of scope within the framework of long held conservative principles often guided by the laws of God within the Judea Christian believe systems.

Social liberalism and fiscal conservatism are ultimately an incompatible combination. Social liberalism always by necessity needs to more statism, a leftist goal.

May I offer you two sets of “dittos” on your statement.

Certainly, after I make the following correction of course:

Thanks. I just wish we had a way to edit our posts after we post them in case there’s typos and misspellings.

Don't worry about it. But before one posts. One can attempt to carefully review what they wrote by clicking off the Post button check box and clicking on the Preview button. Sometimes that helps. Most of us on occasions make mistakes. Most of us, I take the risk at assuming, read comments and know someone meant something different, or fact simile.
In your comment "lead" and "need" could have been interpreted in the context as meaning the same thing. If you knew how many times I made mistakes in my grammar and sentence constructs here you probably would request that I be hanged for the betterment of all. heheh.

"held meetings in violation of the states Open Meetings Laws"Already knocked down one libtard who was whining about this, this morning, by noting this was exactly what the Wisconsin judge used to issue an injunction against Gov. Walker's successful collective bargaining bill.
That, in turn, was struck down by the Wisconsin Supremes; and one suspects unfortunately this challenge will eventually go the same route in NY.

Wisconsin is not New York. Different rules on a different box lid of a different board game.
