Same thing as the fact that blacks are 12% of the population but commit 50% of the murders is discrimination.

You can see pickups with Confederate flags, but apparently the NC schools are run by PC idiots who can’t tell a paring knife and uncut apple from a serious weapon. If the honor student was part of a special protected minority who had caused trouble before, they would forget the whole thing in the interest of mainstreaming her and keeping her in the educational system.

I can’t wait for the day when cyber schools are up and running and kids can learn in the safety and comfort of their own homes rather than risking their reputations over stupidity like a paring knife in a lunch box.
Hopefully her parents learned a VERY HARD lesson - that is when you send your chold to a public school, you put your chold in the hands of people that HATE SUCCESS and ACHIEVEMENT (i.e., OWS types). If you give them an opening, they will find a way to cut your chold down to size, and then they will hold a party (amongst themselves) to celebrate their latest ‘success’.

Given that school administrators and teachers are not allowed to use their intellect, why should we believe that they are underpaid?
They can pick up their condoms from the school nurse and add that that to the mix.
