As you probably heard yesterday, a troubled Atlanta business woman used national media outlets to promulgate a fabricated, unsubstantiated story about a 13 year affair with me. I am writing you today to assure you that this woman’s story is completely false.
I do know Ms. White. I have helped her financially at times over the past few years, just as I have helped many friends and acquaintances throughout the years. I thought Ms. White was a friend in need of a supportive hand to better her life.
Ms. White has made it apparent that she was abusing the friendship.
But now I am asking for your friendship. I am also asking for your prayers and support. This is a trying time for my family, my campaign, and for me. It is also a trying time for our country as we are all distracted from the truly important issues facing our nation.
This evening I have an important speaking engagement at Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, Michigan, where I will be outlining my foreign policy and national security plan. While recent events have taken a toll on me, the people in the audience this evening will not know it. I will deliver my message with vigor and enthusiasm.
Let me assure you, I am not deterred. America’s future is too important. We will continue on this journey to make America great once again.

It’s amazing. I mean I’m totally at a loss to understand why the Cain supporters are hanging in with this man.
At some point in time, you’ve gotta say enough is way too much.
But good luck to them.
Quite frankly, although I realize that there are plenty of people who have been softened up already, and from fatigue, if nothing else, are throwing up their hands and giving up now in the face of this latest allegation; but quite honestly, I think this one is even more suspect than any others.
If it were legit, Cain would have know this was coming more than any of the others. It’s also hard for me to believe it wouldn’t have been made much earlier. It has the feel of someone trying to ratchet up the pressure because what’s been tried so far hasn’t quite gotten the job done.
There are a number of background facts to this that make it less than wholly credible. But more than anything, if this woman doesn’t come up with some hard evidence like recorded phone calls, photos or hotel records of their alleged resort trips together, etc., then those of you believing it should be thoroughly ashamed of yourselves.
If it turns out to be true, I’ll naturally be disappointed, and I won’t say that the accusations have planted some doubt, but if I make my voting decisions based on what’s been presented thus far, then I will acting on innuendo, which is just what a smear campaign with nothing behind it is intended to accomplish. I won’t give them that victory.
I said the same thing about Obama’s supporters after all the Rev Wright stuff came out about “g-d damn America’, etc. When people get too invested in something or someone, they fail to see what is staring them in the face.
And by the way, before putting too much stock in Cain’s attorney’s “non-denial,” while I haven’t read enough about the chronlogy to know one way or the other, it might be worth considering the possibility that Cain made his announcement prior to consulting with his attorney, and the lawyer was just in CYA mode prior to getting the facts. Of course, this wouldn’t have been a wise move by Cain, but depending on when and how he learned that this was about to come out from other sources, he may have felt that he couldn’t afford to wait for such a consultation.
Let’s say there was an above ground pool w water in it. And I said, ‘If you open the drain, water will come out.’
Your comeback would be, ‘No, not unless you tell me how many gallons are in there.’
Iow, you’re arguing stupidity. But be my guest and keep it up. Argue w yourself, if you like. If all Cain’s enemies are as clueless as you, he will Do Just Fine. :)
Why can’t you back up your argument? What is Cain’s current favorable rating? Your argument is like saying if you open the pool drain, we’ll drown, and it doesn’t matter how much water is in the pool.

No he didn’t milwguy, that’s just the way you read it. He stated factually that her ACCUSATION was of private, alleged consensual conduct between adults. He was separating it from the sexual harassment allegations. That’s it.
If my reasoning and logic skills were as poor as yours, I’d be embarrassed to post on a public forum. I’d probably keep a little notebook off to one side of the computer, and jot down the things I would post if only I wasn’t ashamed of looking stupid in public.
I might add that Ginger White said they often stayed at the Ritz Carlton in Buckhead which is about 4 miles from the WSB Studios where he did his radio show.
Ginger did not think this one out. She wants the world to believe this man is so stupid as to take his mistress of 13 years to a place just miles away from WSB?
In many ways Altanta is a small town. Too many people know who he is. If this story was true, someone would have leaked it long before this.
BTW, Did anyone think to ask about the status of their relationship when he was fighting Stage IV colon cancer, a situation not conducive to “Puttin’ on the Ritz.”
Your continued failure to answer a simple question speaks volumes about your “reasoning and logic skills.” What is Cain’s current favorable rating?

Tell you what, I’ll stop asking for Cain’s rating if you can explain how suing would hurt him if his current favorable rating is 15%.
I'm willing to give Herman Cain the benefit of the doubt until more of this story is revealed. Ginger White might be telling the truth but she might also be a world-class nut-job.
Well you know, I really, really want to explain that to you.
Except that I already have, and I hate repeating myself. Why not just look back at my prior posts, try as hard as you possibly can, and see if you can’t figure it out for yourself.
We have a couple male friends in the ministry who were counseling women, as part of their pastoral duty, only to have suits filed against them by the women or their husbands for a supposed affair, which did not happen, but destroyed the lives of all involved. This sounds familiar, all too familiar! I hope it is not true. The left will stop at nothing, if this is from them. I hope no other Republicans are involved.
I agree with you on the foreign policy, but the accusations from the questionable source are less of my reasons for disliking Cain as compared to the foreign policy part. Either way, I guess we choose how to pick our fights, set our priorities, and so on. I figure, however, he’s probably better at business than as a presidential candidate.
The tough part is, I didn’t like Gingrich, with questionable loyalties, or Romney, because of the Romneycare, and lack of risking losing his office while governor on some issues. IMO, I would wish Romney would go back to accounting, and Gingrich take a break from trying to get to the presidency, he’s more of a pep-talker than a candidate, FWIW. However, the unfortunate circumstance would probably leave me with covering my eyes and holding my nose as I vote this year anyways.
I am proud he is continuing and just sent another $100 to his campaign. Please put me on the Cain ping list.
