Are you seriously backing this candidate?? If so I have lost all trust in you and this forum. HC is no more qualified to be President than Mickey Mouse. What are you thinking???

Thanks Jim...glad to hear this good bit of news.
Now, I look forward to him addressing this affair issue, put it quickly and decisively behind him,and get back to the issues at hand.
BUT...
if it turns out this affair is real,it's going to damage him.

I think Cain should just very publicly tell her to “prove it, come forward with the blue dress”...

This is just an observation but it seems all the accusers have come from the time he was CEO of the NRA (National Restaurant Association). His career has spanned multiple organizations and companies but all the women who have come forward are from one place only. I find that odd insomuch as he is being labeled as a serial philanderer by the media and therefore unfit as a candidate. I guess BJ Clinton or Reggie Love don't count.

If he is innocent, and I’m presuming he is, it would be a serious blow to let him be driven from the race based upon unsubstantiated accusations. This hurts everyone.
Goodness, a totally innocent person could be character assasinated over the most trivial thing.
Sadly, I do believe it has hurt him. It has caused doubt, which is a killer. Americans are basically fair minded, but too easily swayed by gossip.

Detractors are trying once again to derail the Cain Train with more accusations of past events that never happened, Gordon said. Then let's talk about recent events that Cain doesn't deny. Why is he providing financial help to a woman he met 13 years ago with a questionable background? He mumbled something about her being unemployed, blah blah blah, but that doesn't exactly calm my fears.

Cain & Bachmann are the only two things going for the GOP this election as far as I'm concerned. Mitt? No way. Newt? My, my people have such short memories. Newt quits at a critical time for conservatism then in the past couple years pops up on TV thinking he deserves to be POTUS? Newt did not do one single thing to prove he can hack it. His actions are highly questionable. No Newt for me not even in the general election. Then there is Perry. Policies like Bush? No thanks. Bush policies gave us Obama abuses.
The GOP leadership in DC such as it is needs a loud and clear message. No More Compromises. No more business as usual helping he DEMs destroy our nation one bill at a time. The GOP leadership can't even choose a decent Speaker of The House.
Does the GOP actually even deserve to continue as a party or is it time to form it's replacement? Please no one post too me work within the party. There is far too much corruption by special interest controlling the party. By that I mean China and Middle Eastern interest are coming first. We cower too both because the GOP congress lacks a spine too defund and close agencies like the EPA.
This primary election was hoodwinked before any votes were cast. All media focus was on one person this past summer. A person of who's actions were not that of one running for POTUS but rather of one riding a huge publicity wave all the way too the bank. I believe because of this undue focus that perhaps other conservatives were waiting too see and when the word came down it was too late. I do not think that was by accident either.
The party powers that be have decided it's a Romney/Newt ticket. Well fine have your Liberal ticket my vote if that is the ticket will be cast in the -I column next November.

Please forgive me, Mr.Cain. I was looking for instructions on how to change my tagline when I saw this story. I would've bet you were leaving the race. God bless you, your family, and the United States of America. Let's get after it!
