While Newt Gingrichs unexpected rise to the top of the Republican primary ladder had taken the spotlight off of the numerous sexual allegations against Herman Cain for some time, but that problem came barreling back into headlines today as Cain himself broke the news of a new accusation: a thirteen-year affair.
On tonights Factor, Bill OReilly had some pessimistic remarks on the matter, wondering whether Herman Cain can survive any more of this.
Joined by panelists Leslie Marshall and Janine Turner, OReilly noted that on his program they were not going to get into this, meaning the details of the affair, but did note it is a legitimate question whether Herman Cain can survive any more of this.
The panelists expressed the same concern, as Turner noted that especially in a conservative race, its going to be tough, but that weve had wonderful leaders throughout the course of our history that were great thinkers that had affairs.
Marshall had a more optimistic approach, noting that things look bad but between now and November 2012 is a lifetime in politics.

The Saints rocked New York’s Giants with ease. I love Drew.
You’re a Perry partisan.
Are you not?
If she has a video show it, otherwise sit down and shut up.
LOL... I can have all of the interest I want in the guy that wants the most powerful job in the world.
Frankly, I personally don’t give a hoot about his sex life, that’s his and his wife’s problem, but IF he lied to America about this junk, then he needs to drop out.
Go Newt Go.....
quit being reasonable Bedford
you must cling to the fantasy
I don’t think that’s possible. But we might be able to find 5 men.

Cain is only one blue dress away from getting pushed out of the race. If the newest Bimbo has any “proof” he is cooked. Or if more women come forward. Its enough to hand it to Newt or Mittens.
Blah blah blah.
Cain will win.
And if my aunt had ..... she'd be my Uncle.
The knew each other for 13 years—the affair might be much shorter—maybe one year? If shes got any proof besides a few phone ledgers—she has torpedoed Cain.
A person would have to be insane to run for the Republican presidential nomination as a conservative with this sort of mess in his background.
Unless, of course, one is Newt Gingrich.
That said, I can see I’m going to be either very disapointed with Mr. Cain or highly outraged at this woman and her LSM accomplices. Because if she’s telling the truth, she will be able to prove it.
And has there been any indication of what her motive is for coming forward? Does she believe that a man who has had an affair is unfit to be POTUS?
You seem to want to torpedo Cain frankly.
Who do you support?
HUH?
Who needs proof, the damage is already done.
You won’t be seeing her no more.
Wouldn’t it be peachy if the media refused to air mere allegations in a situation such as this one, where there should be plenty of evidence the accuser could lay out?
76 isn’t my post.
I don’t recall you saying his lead in the polls was indication that we should all get behind him. Polls only seem to matter when they give you the answer you desire.
Are we to chose our president based on a red line? How about principles? Come to think of it, well, I have seen just yesterday, five weeks into the LIBDEM/RINO mudslinging on him, the “Herman Cain” red line in such places as Iowa, (2nd Place), South Carolina (1st Place) and Florida (2nd Place) for him, if that is what you are asking. But to my knowledge, frankly speaking as I understand it, nobody at this point is leading Cain in the 2012 GOP delegate count.
You inadvertently mis-spelled “HUGH”.
Yeah cuz it makes sense to transfer one’s support from a candidate where there are innuendos but no solid proof to a candidate where there IS proof of affairs (well, okay, maybe he was just window shopping for the next wife before the fire sale). Sorry, but that’s NOT going to happen. It makes no sense. Sheesh, there’s no logic around here anymore. Oh, and Gingrich is a pandering Washington insider who is probably the best chameleon in politics, playing conservative, global warming enthusiast, conservative, health care mandate supporter, conservative, womanizer, conservative...
