Herman Cain indicated today that he does not agree with Newt Gingrichs position on immigration.
The way I would deal with those that are already here, which has been my stated position: empower the states to deal with the illegals that are already here, not some, big, grandiose, national one size fit-all. I believe that the states should be empowered to deal with the illegals that are already here, Cain said CNNs State of the Union this morning.
In response to whether that meant the states could allow illegal immigrants to be put on a path toward legalization and toward citizenship, Cain answered, It would be up to the states as long as they did not break the federal law.
But when Crowley used the word amnesty, inquiring if that it meant it would be okay if the states granted some sort of amnesty to those who are already living here, Cain vehemently denied he supported amnesty.
Im not saying that at all, he said
Secure the border for real, Cain continued, speaking about what his plan regarding illegal immigrants is. Promote the path to citizenship thats already there, and the path to citizenship thats already there doesnt say anything about amnesty. Thirdly, enforce the laws that are already there, but make it easier for companies to be able to enforce the laws. And fourth, empower the states. Dont give the states any special things to do, just empower them to do within the law what the federal government is not doing.
True.... Some States need to replace all the babies they murdered with Mexicans...
Its a matter of economics.. kinda... If you know what I mean..
Others cannot afford the parasites.. on their system..
but there is always his 999 ...
Youre right thats why the lawyers are rich. _:)
Im quoting the US Code; specifically Title 8 Chapter 12 Sub II Part IX Sec 1357 I think its also referred to as the Immigration and Nationalization Act Sec. 287. [8 U.S.C. 1357]
” Perry attacked Arizona and told Jan Brewer to F off, he was no supporter of SB1070, Perry was too busy sucking up to reconquista and La Raza. “ <<
Rick Perry had one occasion where he spoke to La Raza. One. On that occasion, his speech was not about doing anything the California style La Raza way. Period.
Rick said the AZ bill would not work for Texas. He did, does, and will support ARIZONA and Jane Brewer, tirelessly, on the ground of State’s Rights. Period.
You people would have none of it when it had Perry’s name on it, with an A+ on JOBS, and an actual record, but fall over yourselves spinning Cain out of this one, who went from the board room to the sound room for a career path. What that was all about? Ten years and Rick Perry mastered a few things as governor. Cain repeats what Rick says on states rights and he’s a genius.
Read the transcript. The article posted is biased.
CAIN: ... because it is a package. Secure the border for real, promote the path to citizenship that’s already there. And the path to citizenship that’s already there doesn’t say anything about amnesty.
Thirdly, enforce the laws that are already there. But make it easier for companies to be able to enforce the laws.
And fourth, empower the states. Don’t give the states any, you know, special things to do. Just empower them to do, within the law, what the federal government is not doing. That’s my approach to the whole issue.
so now we have Cain, Perry, Gingrich and Bachman being for some kind of amnesty.. either the states individually allowing it(and many states will) or some kind of federal policy.. just as I have always said when it comes right down to the nitty gritty NOBODY is going to throw ALL the illegals out.. it’s not possible and will never happen... so now we all can forget about voting next year they are all RINOs and let’s give the election to Obama after all the economy has to get better and he says he’s just about ready to turn it all around.. (sarcasm off)
Dude, read the freaking transcript. The article has made up a story.

LOL LOL OW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you have incited the Cainiacs!!!!!
Any freeper who is serious about immigration knows this battle well.
NO..he did not do that at all!
Please check on your facts before you write something.
I live in Arizona and do know about SB1070. Perry did support Jan Brewer. He agreed with the law, only said that it would not work n Texas. I can not remember the reasons he gave at the time.
You really are constantly deceptive when it comes to Herman Cain.
Reading is HARD!

What the hell are you talking about. Gov. Perry and Gov. Brewer are the only two people in the fight. Texas has shouldered a lot of the financial burden because we can afford it, Arizona can't. During operation Wrangler it cost $134 Million a year, Texas paid $100 million Arizona paid $34 for a total of $400 million from Texas and $136 from Arizona. When Obama filed suit against Arizona Perry sent Greg Abbott in to join the suit because Obama's plan was to bankrupt Arizona in the court room. Greg Abbott brought the Texas economy into the court room to stand up to Obama. I would hardly call that telling Jan Brewer to "F off".
” Were losing our national identity and becoming a third world country, yet our politicians are more concerned about the plight of illegals and offending Mexico. “ <<<
Anglos contracepted themselves out of existence decades ago.
Who’s fault is that? Mexicans kept the Faith, and took seriously, “Be fruitful and multiply”...... We chose Woodstock. Go figure.
-—”True.... Some States need to replace all the babies they murdered with Mexicans.”-—
Ouch. A bit hyperbolistic, but rooted in truth. Very sad, it is, my FRiend.
Or maybe he’ll be explaining what he did say, because you didn’t bother to read the transcript.
So, the Federal Government has abdicated one of its enumerated powers of national defense. Cain says he’s in favor of the States taking steps to deal with the problem.
I take it you’re against Arizona’s SB1070 and Alabama’s law also?
Or did you really think the Fed Gov is going to step up to the plate sometime soon?
Or did you think Rick Perry or Newt Gingrich will take up the task if elected?
That’s like saying the Titans are going to win the AFC when they can’t even win their division.
What Cain and you don't seem to understand is that enforcement of the immigration laws is solely the duty of the executive branch. Cain doesn't seem to understand that if he were elected president (which isn't going to happen) that he could begin full enforcement of the laws on January 21, 2012.
The reason the feds aren't deporting is because no president has made it a priority.
Cain has no clue what the powers of the presidency are. He has no business being in this race. He is the least qualified candidate in the field. He is just making it up as he goes.
