Yeh... Why send out a correction? It can only serve to make you look more foolish - with a campaign team that already has a perception problem in terms of competency. Besides poll numbers drive donation, maybe they'll make a few extra bucks from it - before folks realize the truth.

Nothing like making up for shortcomings by surrounding yourself with the best people.

I like Cain - but I think he may be over his head for the job of president. No doubt he is way better than Obama, and I'd vote for him in a heartbeat but I think Newt is breaking out and is showing that he has the inspiration and know how of making a real impact rooted in conservative ideas.

“with a campaign team that already has a perception problem in terms of competency”

Well, they were competent enough to get their name on the Missouri ballot, unlike other candidates who missed the deadline and are out...

I guess this beats the news that Newt has been hurt by his Amnesty platform and that now he's getting good vocal vibes from Bill Clinton.

When Bill Clinton starts to say he likes a Candidate that doesn't bode well with this Conservative.

Actually, I suspect the release of the polling numbers is pre-mature, but will end up being pretty close - considering Newt’s MELTDOWN on legalization of Illegals.

This is the reason why none of the campaigns have taken off to beat Romney. They all, to the last, have hired some of the most incompetent untested, and selfish hacks in memory.

None of them, save Romney, has hired anyone who has the needed political business sense. Especially the only so called businessman, Cain.

I received that email and just figured the Cain folks were lying. Looks like that’s the case.

LOL, nice try.

There were several news articles the morning that email came out on Cain leading the Rasmussen poll — I know because I read it in several places.

Apparently Rasmussen put up the wrong poll for a short time and then corrected it.

A lot of people had to backtrack on that information, and this was not the campaign’s fault.

___________
Maybe you need reminding of your own words, when talking about Gingrich’s amnesty stance:

“You all realize that there is no perfect candidate on that stage? They all have warts. At the end of the day the chosen candidate will be a compromise.”

Just another crippled attempt by Cain to mislead (I’m being kind), his supporters.

Sorry Mr. Cain, I just sent another $100 to the next “real” president, Newt Gingrich.
