Probably thought the speed limit was 169.

NASCAR driver Kyle Busch loses license after pleading guilty to 128 mph speeding.
He was sober, but stupid. This guy is drunk and stupid.

a 2005 Chrysler, and clocked him at 119 mph OK, that just strains credulity.

Two days ago, 2 teens broke 90mph in downtown Spokane at 4 a.m., crashed into a yogurt shop and came to rest about 16 feet inside the building. Totaled the building and probably the car. They got out and walked home. Ooops!

OK, that just strains credulity. Maybe he was going downhill.
Officer - Sir do you realize you were going 119 mph when the speed limit is 70 miles per hour.
Drunk - Of course officer, but I was only going to be driving for 30 minutes and at 119 mph I would only travel 59 1/2 miles which is well under 70 miles in one hour.
Seriously though, who in their right mind would let a drunk drive. My aunt ALWAYS took the keys and drove when my uncle was drinking.

Another motorist alerted authorities to Jahns driving...
Funny how roadblocks and radar guns aren’t needed to catch the dangerous drivers.

Too bad he didn't get caught in Michigan. With interstate cooperation, Michigan and Indiana would have had him. Double trouble ! Worst thing is to get entangled with getting a deuce out of state ! If he was caught in MI, he would had to deal with DUI reinstatement fees and hoops to jump through in both states and also has to pay MI driver responsibility fees which are steep for DUI's.
I don't favor interstate cooperation on minor traffic violations like points for out of state speeding, DUI is a different story. An interesting item, Illinois is worse for getting caught doing a DUI. They even go as far as keeping an eye on you after you trade your IL license for a license in a different state. Look in
Expert Law. This might deserve a little grain of salt though but wouldn't put it past them if it means more money for IL !

I read yesterday where a state cop in an unmarked car pull a motor cycle over for running 108. You guessed it, it was a city cop.

Once in high school I had my mom’s 66 Comet Cyclone up to what I think was about 140.

I’m not sure that’s the case. I’ve seen Honda Accords with speedometers going all the way to 160.

I saw the dashcam video of the Ohio incident. It was a huge story here in Columbus. All three of them (the two on bikes and the cop who pulled them over) were so relaxed and congenial it was ridiculous.
