RECOGNITION FOR ACTIONS

U.S. Army Pfc. Laura Lefler is one of 12 service members to receive recognition in Afghanistan, Oct. 30, 2011, for actions they took Oct. 26 when their convoy was ambushed twice while traveling through Afghanistan's Tangi Valley. The team overcame a 45-minute complex attack in which insurgents used rocket propelled grenades, small arms fire and improvised explosive devices. LEATHERNECK WIN

I went to the grocery store around 5AM; it was 47 degrees and wet here. We had light showers overnight...wish we could send some there!

As forshopping...fuhgeddaboudit! Nothing is worth the aggravation of trying to shop on this day.

We had water damage in the laundry, kitchen and dining / living rooms from the clothes washer not stopping to fill. We had to go get the new wood flooring today. Not too bad for black Friday.
