Almost immediately upon Sarah Palin's announcement that she would not seek the Republican nomination for president, the phone calls from almost all of the GOP candidates began pouring in. They wanted her endorsement.
While Palin has characteristically kept her cards close to her chest, advisers suggest that the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee is likely to endorse before someone emerges as the inevitable nominee -- and that Newt Gingrich appears to be best-positioned to secure her support

The only candidate in the group she has a track record of endorsing is Perry but I don’t think she will do it unless Perry rebounds.
If it gets down to a dwindling few, she may opt for the most conservative of the group but who knows who/when that will be.
It will be interesting to see just what the Shadow knows, when the time comes.

The question is: She endorsed McCain over a PROVEN Conservative, and all was forgiven.
Will the Tea Party forgive her this time if she endorses NEWT?
Newt is NO conservative.
