For supercommittee, failure was an option

Well, theyve blown it. Failure was an option.
The 12 supercommittee senators and representatives announced Monday they couldnt come up with a spending, taxing and deficit reduction package.
Thanks for wrecking everyones Thanksgiving.
The stakes for the long-term health of the economy have just grown more dire.
Americas reputation for leadership has just taken another hit. An agreement would have provided a bracing contrast to the struggles in Europe over the debt crisis there. It would prove to the world that the United States can face up to its problems, that were open for business.
Political analyst Larry Sabato in the Boston Herald delivered his verdict on the members of now not-so-super committee: All 12 of them could have been heroes. Instead theyre going to be the bums. Thats what happens when you take on a big challenge and utterly fail.

I guess they didn’t hear we’re $15 trillion in debt and need to cut like there’s no tomorrow. But hey, life on the Titanic’s fine. There’s no need to change course. Morons!
The 12 failed for the same reason. They all want Obama out of the White House.
Why don´t American people demand that their Government stops giving money to the UN.Egypt. Pakistan.Palestinians.
Lybia.Jordan.and many more countries that keep saying they hate America. That would save a few billions. Why do American people keep feeding the people that hate them ?
Americans are too generous. Time to stop.
greetings from the new EUSSR.
I predicted failure. Sadly I was correct. I expect the only solution is collapse and purge.
The super-committe was a joke from the get-go. Once Murray and Kerry were put on it, I knew it was a sham.
failure was inevitable from the very get-go! It was never meant to be a workable solution.
The Republicans refusal to raise taxes.
The "Ryan Bill" which cuts $6.2 trillion...It passed 235-193 with every Democrat voting no.
The current Bush Tax Cuts.
The Ron Paul Meat Ax Plan.
The Forbes Flat Tax.
The Fair Tax.
I wonder if these idiots can even balance a checkbook.
What, did you want the Republicans to help the RATs raise taxes? If you're a thieving RAT, why balancing a checkbook be a needed skill?
They where all progressives plus “the Demented Princess Nancy” ordered the dims to not compromise on anything.
They knew they were there for one reason only--to fill the gap which allowed the Congress to pass the buck on debt reduction until after the next year's elections. Now, they all will prance around blaming each other for a few days then go on as if nothing has happened (it didn't.)
If the issue of the debt arises they will point to next year and huff about how "something must be done--we can't pass this on to the next generation"--like they always have, and already have for the past year.
