So strange, that a candidate doing so well would just all of a sudden implode like that.

It almost seems like some sort of set-up. Sadly, I wouldn’t doubt if it was.

The entire field was put together to convince Sarah Palin not to run. Now that she is out, it is all designed to implode. Then we get Mitt who will lose gracefully like McCain and Dole.

I don't think it is at all strange that many Americans let the media and the leftists tell them what to think. I've seen this happening all my life.

How do you set someone up to look like they don't know what they're talking about. I was really enthusiastic about Cain when he first started. The first time I started to pull back was when he could not respond to the right of return thing. After that it seems like it was a gaff a week!!The sex thing is not a deal breaker, I think the old broads are lying!!

“Likely”

You thinkk he set himself up? I don’t understand. Do you think it was the Bimbos, the no idea wtf he was talking about or the dawning that he REALLY was in over his head?

Seriously, not trying to be a wise guy...don’t you think it was all of the above that sank him?

“It almost seems like some sort of set-up.”

It most definitely was a set-up. (Offered with as much proof, as the Cain accusers have offered.)

When my parents turned 50, they sometimes called me by my sister's name. It got worse as time went on. They weren't confused, they knew the moment they said it, and would correct it. It is an “output” problem. They were thinking one thing and said another.

Kinda like reaching into a filing cabinet, and pulling out the wrong file, because it is right next to the one you really wanted.

Cain started to answer the question about Libya, but realized that he had actually thought about a different situation, and had to switch gears, which took him a few minutes to collect his thoughts.

If he were a slick politician, he would have just said no I don't think he handled it correctly, and forced the reporter to ask a followup question which would have given him time to think.

Then he could have repeated the reporter's question to gain a few more minutes. Then he could have said, well let me think about how I want to phrase that answer, so it won't be misunderstood.

By that time he would have had an answer. But, instead he just honestly admitted he had started to answer about a different situation than Libya.

It is a shame, I would like to have the first “real” black President be elected as a representative of the party of Lincoln, which might give others the idea to leave the Democrat's plantation.

Set up from Miller and conservatives who are trying to go after Cain. It does seems thought not the sexual harassment stuff, but the gaffes have begun to hurt Cain. I say that because as soon as Beck was unhappy with Cain’s lack of Foreign Policy then Miller withdraws support. But Cain said a bunch of things that right. So these people in stead of supporting him and quickly backing off. So they’ll cost us the election. As there is no perfect person, but it seems that we are split on who to elect. Some want Perry, Some want Bachmann, Some want Cain and some want Gingrich.
