Why have so many major cities turned on the Occupiers?
The liberal mayors/leaders of Oakland, Portland, New York City and other cities, this week have decided that the Occupier/scumbags are not welcome. Across the nation liberal mayors have sent in cops in their cities , to move the scumbags out of their encampments and tear down their encampments.
So what has happened and why this week?
Did the mayors finally wake and realized that these scumbags were not the 99% of he/she/its in white hats?
Did the merchants in the impacted areas finally convince the mayors that their businesses were being devastated and would not have a lot of sales tax $s to give to the cities due to their lost business?
Did the mayors finally listen to Public Health Doctors/Nurses and others that these encampments were huge germ/virus pools that could threaten large sections of the city's population not involved?
Did the daily rapes/murders/robberies/fights in the encampments finally wake up the mayors?
Did the mayors fear a massive backlash from independent and working democrat voters in their cities or even recalls?
There was probably a lot of the above and other factors that influenced the mayors.
How about another factor. Did the DNC run focus groups of working voters in those cities and find out that the Occupier scumbags in each city were probably costing the Democrats votes across the nation?
Well, something happened, and it probably was not a coincidence, that this week, the left wing mayors of these liberal cities across America, decided to take out the Occupier Garbage, human and infectious garbage.
A massive demonstration had been planned for this Thursday. The highly publicized removal may actually increase participation for a movement that was flagging.
It’s all Kabuki Theater for the sheeple.
In a word, no.
Thanksgiving and Black Friday was approaching.
Bingo! THat was my answer as ell.
Its theater. The mayors realized their perceived support of OWS is becoming more of a political liability. So they make a show of kicking the smelly punks out, and judges will let them back in.
fyi
I expected that action would happen eventually. But I’m surprised that they are all happening at the same time. Something was decided by higher ups behind the scenes.
I never understood how this Occupy movement helped Democrats politically. It seems like these protesters are reliving the late ‘60s and early ‘70s. The protesters of that era thoroughly offended the sensibilities of the people whom Nixon called the “silent majority”.
Though the protesters of that day tapped into antiwar sentiment over the Vietnam war, too many people of “Middle America” couldn’t identify with the free love and pot smoking and general disregard for civilized behavior which those hippie protesters demonstrated. Not unlike the uncivilized behavior at Occupy Wall Street camps today.
The camps were becoming an embarrassment. The nightly TV visuals were not going down well with Joe and Sally Sixpack.
The Left now wants to get them off the tube and to try and mainstream most of their key talking points. Look at the sudden media attacks on Congress, including Democrats like Nancy Pelosi, for insider trading and other forms of Wall Street-based corruption.
They are going to try and sell the idea that only anti-Capitalists can resist that temptation and are the logical choice to fix the country.
Their internal polls showed public revulsion. The demos were doing the Dems more harm than good.
The order came down from the White House to end the charade. It didn’t turn into the groundswell that they had hoped (more stimulus dollars wasted) that Barak (surfin’ Hawaiian) Obama could ride like a champion into the election. Now we will be given new polls from the MSM showing that the Occupy movement has lost the support of the nation, thereby justifying its dislocation and keeping surfin’ Barak’s reelection hopes alive.

The usefulness of the useful idiots is over.
‘Til next time.
That was my feeling re internal polls and focus group feedback showed that this was and could cost votes for the rats across the nation.
Yep Christmas shopping season coming up kicked off by Black Friday. Downtown Merchants would really be screaming bloody murder if these lefties & hippies ruin their big Christmas shopping season
And these merchants are taxpayers unlike the “occupy” bums and moochers
You are right. Each day/evening and night the mediots were showing the reality of the occupier scumbags, and the cumulative result were not making Joe and Sally happy!

You are a man of vision sir, I believe this most likely is what is planned by the [barf] major media outlets.
The DNC and the outhouse probably had a big impact to take out the occupier garbage across the nation:
