The National Lawyers Guild says it has obtained a court that allows Occupy Wall St. protesters to return with tents to a New York City park.
The guild says the injunction prevents the city from enforcing park rules on Occupy Wall Street protesters.
Mayor Michael Bloomberg says the city knew about the court order but has not seen it. He says the city plans to go court immediately.

>>Lived in AA for three years, you betcha!<<
You’ve been in the belly of the beast. Whoa!
Welcome to the ObamaNation!
>>Might be sleeping on the floor and eating off the grill but at least they won’t be in the city surrounded by thousands of others looking for resources.<<
It’s funny, but I’ve been thinking about that.
I think the poo will fly in summer. At least the beginning. If you’re cold and hungry, most of you stay inside while a few venture out to scavenge. If it’s summer and you’re hungry, then you travel in packs. Look at OWS.
So I’ve gotten the camper packed with all the basics AND a couple extra tents to share, if need be. I figured we may find someone in need on our travels.
The beginning of the takeover by the mobs?
Moved out of home at 19 and lived there with a friend, for a young kid with no sense for politics yet I had the time of my life. I still like the place, I just have to put mental filters on my eyes and ears when walking around now. Still has a great nightlife even for us old duffers.
Lucy Billings- aclu hag.
she normally handles real estate cases.
It is fun there, but I can’t listen to people too long.
There is a great little sushi place called “Totoro”. It’s yummy. We’ve stopped there on our monthly visits to see Granny in Jackson. My kids sit in the back with their mouths open after seeing some of the character hanging around.
what the heck was Giuliani thinking?

The hearing is over and the injunction is being appealed so it will be on hold for who knows how long.
One of the reasons I built where I did is because of my living in the city. One day we were walking around AA, it was during the Tienanmen Square massacre I remember, and I was watching the demonstrations downtown. I kept thinking about what I would do if things got bad here, and I realized how dependent I was on the system.
My water, food, electricity, fuel, everything I would need or want I would be in line with tens of thousands of others completely dependent on someone else to supply them. After I got married and moved down here that was always in the back of my mind. I wanted a well and septic, not city water and sewer, and a way to generate my own power, at least for a while. I have a geotherm furnace with the lake as my heat source, and everything else in my home is electric also, so as long as I have my tractor with its big PTO generator and some diesel fuel I could live like I do now while the world goes to hell in a handbasket around me. I have plenty of game on the property, especially fish, so if I could keep people away from us I could do pretty well. 100 acres of hardwoods also means a lot of firewood, something else that could come in handy in a pinch too.
I go just to get good greek food at The Parthenon on main street sometimes when I’m up there. They have great gyros, I could eat a half dozen of them at one sitting I think...
