While I can't imagine why, some New York City residents are just sick and tired of the Wall Street Occupiers -- and would prefer they pack up their Zuccotti Park tent city and head on home, wherever home might be. NBC New York reports:
Downtown residents and business owners are organizing a protest of the protest after two months of Lower Manhattan being occupied by the Wall Street demonstration.
Angry over all-day drumming, people urinating and defecating on the streets and verbal attacks from protesters, organizers say they will rally at City Hall Monday to send officials a message. …
Businesses have complained for weeks that the encampment is causing them to lose money, although a few have made money off the protests, as donors from all over the country have sent food from nearby restaurants to the movement.
Mayor Michael Bloomberg has defended the protesters, saying they mostly stick to the park and are primarily law-abiding. That might be — but, nationwide, that’s far from true. The original New York City occupation sparked a movement that can be truthfully characterized as violent. As of today, OWS protesters across the country have been responsible for at least 232 incidents of violence, vandalism or other outrageous behavior. Furthermore, as BigGovernment’s John Nolte points out, the protest must also bear partial responsibility for collateral damage. The Occupy movement drains law enforcement resources. Just as of mid-to-late October, shootings in NYC were way up — and no doubt the diminished police presence outside of Zuccotti Park contributed to that. The protests are a public safety issue — and Bloomberg would be justified if he took a strong position against the flagship protest that spearheaded the lawlessness nationwide.
In all seriousness, I’ve thought that the liberty-minded should co-opt these protests.
The Obamavilles are pretending to self-govern by consenus. It wouldn’t take many people acting as an organized group to turn their experiment into complete chaos.
You would have to be prepared for various kinds of intimidation. But, documenting that would achieve the same effect.
I wonder how well the dedicated $300k-in-debt-to-student-loans OWSers are getting along with the actual HOMELESS?
If it didn’t stink so much, I’d be tempted to go downtown and check it out.
But I am truly afraid of cooties down there. Big time cooties.
Unless all the politicians suddenly say they're going to stop accepting huge campaign contributions and listening to million dollar lobbyists instead of the people they're supposed to represent, the Occupy movement will only gain steam. Next spring and summer are going to be very hot. Brace yourself folks, this is just the beginning...

Why did the liberal mayors oust the Occupier/scumbags this week?

Why have so many major cities turned on the Occupiers?
The liberal mayors/leaders of Oakland, Portland, New York City and other cities, this week have decided that the Occupier/scumbags are not welcome. Across the nation liberal mayors have sent in cops in their cities , to move the scumbags out of their encampments and tear down their encampments.
So what has happened and why this week?
Did the mayors finally wake and realized that these scumbags were not the 99% of he/she/its in white hats?
Did the merchants in the impacted areas finally convince the mayors that their businesses were being devastated and would not have a lot of sales tax $s to give to the cities due to their lost business?
Did the mayors finally listen to Public Health Doctors/Nurses and others that these encampments were huge germ/virus pools that could threaten large sections of the citys population not involved?
Did the daily rapes/murders/robberies/fights in the encampments finally wake up the mayors?
Did the mayors fear a massive backlash from independent and working democrat voters in their cities or even recalls?
There was probably a lot of the above and other factors that influenced the mayors.
How about another factor. Did the DNC run focus groups of working voters in those cities and find out that the Occupier scumbags in each city were probably costing the Democrats votes across the nation?
Well, something happened, and it probably was not a coincidence, that this week, the left wing mayors of these liberal cities across America, decided to take out the Occupier Garbage, human and infectious garbage.
