November 8, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) - This week’s episode of Fox Television’s prime-time musical comedy show “Glee” featured two teenage couples, one heterosexual and one homosexual, engaging in sex for the first time.
Titled “The First Time,” the episode depicted two couples - a young man and woman, Finn and Rachel, and two young men, Kurt and Blaine - each losing their virginity. The development occurs after a fellow student and school play director tells Blaine and Rachel, who are practicing their roles as Tony and Maria for a production of West Side Story, that they won’t be believable as lovers onstage until they have sex.
A popular show nominated for twelve Primetime Emmys, Glee has also been nominated for best TV comedy series that promotes homosexuality by the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD).

The Parents Television Council (PTC), which has given the show a “not recommended” rating for making sex “the shows most provocative element,” slammed the televised sexual encounters - but explicitly stated that the homosexuality of one of the couples was not an issue.
The fact that Glee intends to not only broadcast, but celebrate children having sex is reprehensible, said PTC president Tim Winter. The gender of the high school characters involved is irrelevant.”
Winter went on to note, “research proves that television is a teen sexual super peer that can, and likely will, influence a teens decision to become sexually active,” making Fox’s decision “gross recklessness.” PTC had urged members ahead of the show to write or call the network with their objections.

Hopefully they won’t blame it on Herman Cain..
Every once in a while it’s good to have a reminder as to why I (and my family) no longer watch TV. What a disgrace.
Complete with bedroom scenes huh.
When all the gutter scenarios are used up, what will be left to shock?
I’m down to two shows now, Person of Interest and Blue Bloods, both on CBS.
Much of the rest of it is garbage.
Will it be brought to you by Hershey’s? This show will make that one busy highway. . .
There’s a reason why I don’t bother watching TV.
I would get out of NY if I were you. An asteroid is undoubtedly inbound even if the one tomorrow misses. Part of me is looking forward to the mushroom cloud.
what is it with November and Ratings ?
So no state agency will prohibit this underage sex act to be shown on TV...but if my underage son has sex with your underage daughter, the state will be ready to prosecute.
Thanks for the info. I’ll be adding Glee to my block list in a few minutes.
I watch "Walking Dead" and it's not garbage, it's more of a 'refuse and tripe' sort of show.
It is a disgrace. This Sh!t does not belong on TV.
I call it sh!t because that is what it is, censor it if you like it won’t make it smell any better.
Parents you know what to do, be a parent! Don’t allow the media to educate your child. Make note of the advertizers and the station, do not patronize, boycott.
I keep looking up for the big “reset” asteroid.
In my college days I was very liberal relative to my current politics but even then I would have found this appalling and infuriating.
I have long felt this show was the most morally depraved on all of network TV. That it specifically targets teens and tweens makes it even more disturbing. Homosexuality is NOT normal and it is an abomination. To present as mainstream and “cute” is nothing less than blasphemy.
Our children are subject to brainwashing at every turn from all manner of media and government run schools. The pro-gay meme has reached epidemic proportions and it is sickening to watch. I do strongly believe we are verging on the end times and I pray for our society.
If it weren’t for The Deadliest Catch, Ax Men, Swamp Loggers, Pawn Stars, Fox News and NFL football I wouldn’t have a television either.
I don’t watch sitcoms or dramas, just documentary style learning television, the news and select sports.
And that’s on the rare occasion I actually have time to watch television.
Why Fox, the only TV company that has half decent news? What do the reported 8% or so of its investors who are devout Saudi Arabian Muslims think about this nonsense? Will they insist on equal time for goats on Glee?
