She might be. But we cannot know that. Only she and Cain know the truth. And in our system the burden of proof is on the accuser not the accused. This is the best system going, even if sometimes the accused get away with wrongdoing for lack of evidence.
My problem with her is the timing. Why now? I think we know ... to get attention and make money off of the story. This could be true whether or not her story is true
My second problem with her is, if what she says happened did happen, why wouldn't she take steps THEN so that other women could be warned about Cain. IF Cain did this, it is surely not the first and last time. She appears not to care about other women who might be treated the same way.
My third problem with her is she is making it more difficult for women in the workplace. Men are reluctant to be alone with a woman in an office or conference room, an elevator, a car, you name it. They are reluctant to travel with a woman collegue for business, etc. This hurts women in a big way from being able to be equal players in business when colleagues have to keep you at a distance and be wary of everything they do/say ... even hand gestures apparently.
There have been so many frivolous sexual harrasement charges that is hurts women in the workplace and in advancement in business.

More people posting mean it is a hot story among posters ... so it stays at the top of LATEST POSTS.

I smell obama all over this. He won his senate race by destroying his opponent. The obama machine got a hold of and publicized the sealed divorce records of the Republican. The case was particularly nasty with the guy not contesting some things because he wanted the case to be over. Thus something which would be a badge of honor for a dem killed off what looked like a good man since he was a Republican.
This is a twofer for Obama. By eliminating Cain, he does not have to worry about splitting the Black vote and after Cain is gone, there will be lots of “evidence” pointing to Republican nominee.
There is a reason that the dems are opposed to letting anyone know what is in the Ten Commandments. There is one in there that says: “Thou shalt not bear false witness against your neighbor.”

Can we develop some kind of timeline for her?

She supposedly had a TV cooking show for 9 years, so she's used to being in front of the cameras, and a friend said she had the knack of schmoozing people. What qualifications she had as an experienced cook to get this show is beyond me. I'm sure she was no Julia Child. More than likely, this position was given her by some TV executive that she was banging. The son was fathered by a media executive while she was married to another man, so its possible that this is the guy who got her the TV gig.
I think there are a lot of llorts here and a lot of n00bie sign ups too.
