“But Sharon Cain’s case may begin becoming unglued when a private investigator, who has requested to remain anonymous until such a time when she will present empirical evidence proving that Bialek is a paid liar set up by Democrat operatives to destroy Cain campaign.”

Who is Sharon Cain?

It sure worked for Obama in the state senate fiasco, which mortared his brick in place. Simplest explanation with the most supportive prior acts on the part of any politician on the field today.

An Occum's razor thing.

I wonder if the hotel can check their reservation logs from 1997.

Why would the Obama campaign spend that kind of money going after Cain before he was the nominee? That would not make sense. You make this the October surprise.

A lot of people here “know” the media fabricated this entire scandal.

In reality, it looks like Cain liked to try and trade sexual favors for jobs. He held powerful positions and the behavior of powerful people usually abuse those under them. Just because Cain wins the Chosen Republican Candidate of the Month award doesn’t absolve him from (what appears to be) a pattern of abuse towards subordinate women.

Call this woman a liar, and the next and the next and the next. But at some point you have to accept the man has a tainted history.

I predict he drops out under a barrage of accusations sometime between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Who stands to gain the most by hurting the Cain campaign? Romney and his twin brother, Barrack Obama!

I find that her recollection of events after 14 years is amazing. I also find it strange that she didn’t pursue this years ago when Cain was CEO of a major corporation and likely would have settled for large sum of money if this case had any merit. That she comes forward now and says she isn’t seeking any legal action is fishy to say the least. I think this may well be a concocted story as part of a smear campaign.

I'm sure that Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and the NAACP will be all over the media expressing their outrage over this plot to smear Herman Cain and destroy his candidacy.

(Yes, I'm being sarcastic.)

Considering the history of race in this country, this whole circus revives the the most despicable racial stereotypes.

Cain’s strongest support is coming from the south. Black men being framed for assaulting white women is part of the sordid history of race in the south.

If Cain is yet another black man to be framed for assaulting a white woman, politics has descended even further into the gutter than I thought it would be possible for it to go.

Who knows what the motives are right now, but this will all come to light in time.

If this ends up being a Dem set up, it could backfire big time with blacks who know the terrible history of black men being framed for crimes they did not commit.
