Occupy DC protesters violently injured peaceful Tea Party go-ers (some elderly) and attemped to force entry into the Washington Convention Center on Friday (Nov 4, 2011), where Americans for Prosperity is hosting their "Defending the American Dream Summit." The protesters also formed roadblocks, surrounding the convention center and only allowing non-luxury cars to pass. Parents with their children were caught in the violence. Some injured... Auto/pedestrian accidents occured as Occupy protestors rushed into the streets hurling profanities at drivers and attempting to block drivers' paths. This has to stop...
God Bless the woman in the wheelchair. Wow...I admire her for her courage in the face of that situation.

The conservative media needs to be on this like white on rice tomorrow...A to Z, dawn to dusk. Beck, Rush, Levin, Savage, Hannity, Ingraham...lock step for once in your lives. Breitbart, Malkin, even Palin...step up and RAISE SOME HELL! These punks are beating on children and the elderly, and they need to be stopped...right now.

I don’t blame him one bit either. In fact, back in the early 90s it was on an OPRAH show that she and her guest - a former police detective - advised people to do exactly that if confronted in their car by people blocking the road and acting aggressively. It’s called self-defense.

By my reckoning, OWS has been a premeditated orchestration by POTUS, Soros, 60s radicals now in positions of influence (a la Ayers, Dohrne, etc), Alinskyites/Pivenites, et al, to mobilize the mobs--- filled with anarchists, Neo-Nazis, communists, and college-age useful idiots (with union thugs and assorted associations standing in the wings).
Re these OWS mobs---I haven't heard a single cogent comment by any of these demonstrators. They seem to have no idea why they are there. It might as well be a rave, as far as the useful idiots are concerned.
It's time for GOP candidates to speak often and loudly (and in commercials) about these crimes and our current corrupt MSM's and government's unwillingness to not only do nothing about them but to abet them with their public silence and their cloaked complicity.

Jerry Rubin was part of an SDS sponsored slate that ran for all of the open offices in Berkeley, CA in 1967, or 1968. They were all defeated, except for one — Ron Dellums was elected to the Berkeley City Council. Berkeley was much more conservative in those days.
Dellums was a Communist, and he didn’t stay on the Berkeley Council long. In fact, the local Communist organizer held a party to welcome him to the neighborhood where I lived at the time. He was sponsored into his home by other Communists because I heard from the Realtor, who had the listing, that Dellums didn’t have 2 coins to rub together and didn’t even know that a down payment was necessary to buy a house. He returned in a few days with cash for a DP.
On an elective trajectory, much like Barack Obama 40 years later, he became the US Congressman for the area and eventually became head of the US Armed Services Committee before retiring. Of course, he mentored Barbara Lee to take his place, and she is still in power.
I recount all this to prove a point. EVERY election is important and the wrong decision can have long lasting effects.

From the video it appears that a number of "Cannabis University" (http://www.oaksterdamuniversity.com/) types were in this store, a store which (usually) has a security guard on the premises. Where was he this time?
(In the early 1960s, downtown Oakland was a very civilized and pleasant place to shop, believe it or not.)
