Retiring Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison refused today to soften any of the criticisms she leveled at Texas Gov. Rick Perry when she challenged him in last years GOP gubernatorial primary.
Im not going to backtrack on anything I said, Hutchison told CNNs State of the Union when asked whether her criticisms still stand against Perry, who is running for the 2012 GOP presidential nomination. I tried to give Texas a choice. ... He was pretty brutal on my record, and I took on his record. And so thats the way politics is, and it does come back.
Hutchison lost by more than 20 points in the March 2010 gubernatorial primary.
I thought we needed a choice in Texas, and I certainly feel the same way about the United States, she said without offering an endorsement in the presidential race.
Yes, she is true to her one principle: stabbing conservatives in back to make herself feel important.
That’s right. The Rove RINO machine dumped millions of dollars in the pro-abortion KBH campaign and it backfired big-time.
Rove should have switched to the democratic party years ago.
There is absolutely nothing conservative about Rove and that’s why he’s pimping for Romney the liberal. He also joined with the liberals every chance he got to bash
Sarah Palin. Rove hates real conservatives.
They aired this moron on AFN for years. He really sucks.
IF you'd rather NOT be pinged FReepmail me.
IF you'd like to be added FReepmail me. Thanks.

Are you talking about Jim Hightower? John Hightower was the Senator from Texas with the "deep roots," so to speak.
She’s a loony toon. Her majesty thinks she was owed the Republican nomination for Texas Governor? Best I can say about her is she kept that Senate seat out of Democrat hands
I am glad Perry won in 2010 and she sure sounds like a sore loser to me now. She is probably still miffed about the Kay Bailout Hutchison jibe. I hope that Texas sends a conservative Senator to DC this time. It would be a nice change.
Kay Bailey Hutchison is about as untrustworthy as Mitt Romney and Olympia Snowe. They ALL can go over to their little RINO nursing home in the big woods and STAY there!
Hutchison phrased it so the MSM has cast it that the Perry camp put out the Cain story. The woman is vicious.
I guess she just thought she should have it all.
I still find it odd that she (now turning 70) and her husband (now turning 80) adopted infants (a boy and a girl) in 2001.
Logic fail. Not liking someone does not mean I like someone else. Not liking KBH has nothing to do with liking or not liking Perry. And, yeah, I’m from Texas......
Kay Bailey stands around the Senate floor like ..now why I’m I here?
Her dirty tricks didn’t work. She is nothing but a Bush/Rove lackey.
RINO big time Hutchison sheesh. Needs medication for being a sore loser. Seek help Hutchison asap. Now go away we do not need nor want to hear from you. Poof!
When US Senators reach a certain age they feel entitled to tell any darn lie they want. Arlen Spector and McCain are fine examples. Senators are treated like royalty in DC and it goes to their heads. It did with Kay Baily Hutchison
We may conclude that Rick-haters are RINOs :-)
If Rick-haters are not RINOs they are ultra-lib Dems.
Congratulations, Tribune7! Your post has been selected for perservation in my "Most Ridiculous Perrybot Posts" collection! :-)
