Yep, I think that just about nails it. Their second choice is probably tied between Perry and Huntsman.

He didn’t have what it takes to beat JOHN MCCAIN.

The Geniuses of Win at the GOP are purposely trying to re-elect Obama but pushing this obvious loser.

CNN is still pushing that con artist like there's no tomorrow.

Saw that imbecile Wolf Blitzer's show yesterday, managed to make it into a campaign commercial for that degenerate douchebag MYTH ROMNEY.

Wolf was always an idiot, look up his appearance on Jeopardy.

The rest of the blurb: Freedom Works’ Tabitha Hale, Gaypatriot.org blogger Bruce Carroll, Townhall’s John Hawkins, Tea Party activist Tiffiny Ruegner and GOP political consultants Matt Mackowiak and Ali Akbar are launching NotMittRomney.com today as a grass-roots effort to oppose his nomination.

Political consultants (especially from "Gaypatriot"... whatever that is) are going to launch a "grass-roots" effort?!? Contradiction in terms...

I think the Democrats are praying Romney is the candidate. That will allow them to continue their program.

No, it’s not the marital baggage. It’s the corruption that led to him stepping down as Speaker of the House. Follow the money.

A movement is bubbling in DC among conservative operatives and talking heads who don’t think Mitt Romney has what it takes to beat President Obama.

i THINK THEY ARE ON TO SOMETHING. He just doesn’t have what it takes.

I WILL NOT VOTE FOR MITT - PERIOD. I’ll write in Palin if push comes to shove.

No one said "they" were smart or swift. "They" are slow to catch on. Conservatism wins every time and Mittens is running as a liberal Democrat.

>>I WILL NOT VOTE FOR MITT - PERIOD. I’ll write in Palin if push comes to shove.<<

Interesting. I’ve posted here before my rationale for voting for Obama over Romney, assuming we get a solidly Republican Congress. (In short, they would likely defund Obamacare if Obama is President, but Romney would probably encourage them to “tweak” it, rather than defund it or repeal it.)

And, instead of writing in Palin’s name, I probably would still vote for Obama, because a write-in would cost him a vote.

However, given what’s happening in the primaries, it would make some sense to start a primary write-in movement for Palin just to see how strong she really is. I would only advocate this, however, if Cain flounders soon and Perry stays weak. Gingrich, I fear, while knowledgeable, would not right the ship. He might even lose to Obama, for that matter. In other words, a Palin write-in campaign in one of the early states, IA or SC, might make sense in the absence of a strong candidate for the anyone-but-Romney position.

For now, though, I hope Cain continues to gain strength...
