Cain/Gingrich 2012
” conservative operatives and talking heads who dont think Mitt Romney has what it takes to beat President Obama. “
Conservatives who are not ‘operatives and talking heads’ don’t think that Romney has what it takes to be President. Period.
We need a candidate!
Jeff Flake would be excellent as would Jim DeMint!
Karl Rove has a new set of targets to take out.
In other news, bears have been found to defecate in the woods.
lol
NOW they catch on?
lol
Does it matter if Romney can beat Obama if it is not able to fix the country once elected? We need a person that can undo all that Obama and libs have wrought for the last 100 years.
I don't think he's quite in tune with current Conservative issues.
Maybe he should try the Senate a while then get back to us some day after he's shown some backbone on this key issue.
In short, he's not sufficiently Conservative.
What about Gingrich/Cain? I am warming to Gingrich, but he is normally discounted because of his marital baggage. Is the GOP ready to pick a candidate and stick by them through thick and thin? We normally euthanize all our defectives due to media pressure to do so. However, the recent experience with Cain has shown that beating Obama may be more important than beating ourselves this year.
By definition, DC operatives have no clue how the average citizen will vote. A bag of turnips could beat Obama right now. I think Mitt just about meets those qualifications.
Marxist to crush socialist. No surprise there.
His 'baggage' is that he can't be trusted as a true conservative. His couch scene with Pelosi, and flips on 0bamacare and global warming raises questions - not his marriage.
He has been talking the talk, but when he lets "Newt" overshadow conservative principles, he scares me.
Asked about that last night after the debate, Gingrich said that the ad was a mistake.
That is the best question to ask...I don’t give a tinker’s damn if a repub is elected. I want someone to steer the ship in a different direction.
they are not running.
Jeff Flake? You mean Mr. Amnesty? You mean John McCain's hand picked successor? LOL
I think the Dems are counting on Mitt being the Republican nominee. Ginning up all the hysteria about Wall St. (OWS, the mantra of "millionaires and billionaires") would indicate this, since Mitt (with his Bain background) is the most easily tied to Wall Street, Obama's being in bed with the worst of Wall St. notwithstanding because the media will continue to be silent on that.
Another thing: I heard a brief clip from a Biden speech on the radio the other day, just tsk-tsking that anyone would speak ill of Mitt for being Mormon. I assumed that means the Dems have their anti-Mormonism campaign ready to go. Oh, not Biden or Obama (too obvious) -- more like a History Channel or a CNN special or both or all ganging up.
