In what way?

Every conceivable way.

Every conceivable way.

I think my twelve year old could come up with a better response than that. It's clear that you can't cite Newt's specific qualifications for being the next chief executive of the United States.

“going into childish hysteric”

How about YOU take your punk attitude and stick it in some dark place.

Talking down to folks on FR isn’t going to get you anywhere, and you will NOT win over folks for Cain. Talking down to me.... will get you an enemy.

If you want to make a point, then do so. Don’t try to divert me to some video.

Basic rule of thumb for political campaigns.

Don't build up expectations for your candidate so high he cannot possibly meet them.

If Newt stumbles even a bit, it will now hurt him immensely since everyone has talked up how "great" he is going to do. Newt can put his foot in his mouth. His trash talking Paul Ryan is a good example of how Newt can let his mouth get him into trouble.

Trash talking Cain and extravagantly praising Newt when you have no idea how they will actually perform is bad political tactics.

Your post #11: “. . . if you are a mindless GOP bot who wants yet another Bush style president who will talk tough on the campaign trail and then go to DC and be a good little Liberal GOP Establishment crony capitalist water boy.”

To quote your line from # 10: “You might want to tone down the mindless trash talk. God has a way of humbling out of control arrogance.”

Good grief, Johnnie, at least separate your sanctimony from your own trash talk by a couple of other posts!

Legislators do learn that you can’t fire the voters and volunteers. That you have to make yourself clear to both if you want to get anything done.

If we’ve learned anything this year, involved voters don’t just “move on” from issues that they deem vital.

Excuse me? It's called discussion, and we were engaged in one, up until this moment.

You said, "If Newt is on the ticket, he should be the presidential nominee. He’s far superior to Cain."

I disagreed with that, and explained my reasoning. In two or three responses, you've failed to explain yours. Now you want me to bugger off. Fine. I accept your concession.

This is where you all so hurt your guy Perry. You Perry supporters spent the 1st 6 weeks of the campaign building him up as some sort of political god come to earth.

When Perry then stepped on it, it pretty much destroyed his campaign. People could not help but see how far short of their expectations the real Perry came.

It not right but in politics voters don't blame themselves for unrealistic expectations, they blame the politician for failing their expectations.

Well, well, I’ll give you that your instant post is not as confrontational as many.

Look, Cain isn’t perfect, there are problems that I don’t bring up, mostly because I don’t desire to “trash talk” about him.... but I do and will continue to be somewhat critical during the vetting process.

I am not the least bit worried about how Newt will do. If he does good, then great. If he screws up, that’s on him.

YOU said: “ and extravagantly praising Newt when you have no idea how they will actually perform is bad political tactics.” I have NEVER “extravagantly praised” Newt. He has earned every positive comment I have ever said about him. T?he only person on the planet that I extravagantly praise is my bride and if you say pic’s of her you would understand why.

Now, YOU “extravagantly praise” Cain every day, several times a day and your love affair with him is beginning to look cultish and extreme. You seem to have lost all objectivity. That’s not good for you and it’s not good for Cain.

Don’t get me wrong, I have no problem with your excitement and commitment toward Cain.

Look, be as excited as you want and certainly support your guy, but you truly do need to knock off the attacks.... they win you nothing... and with me, you lose much.

It is going to be a lot of fun. I can’t wait. and, just as an aside, Cain will do very well tomorrow night.

Don’t “misunderestimate” Cain. According to Newt, this is a discussion about economic issues. Cain will be in his element. He will hold his own.
