"Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, Politico?" (Limbaugh Referencing This Now)

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- "What the [bleep] is Politico doing?" said the man on the phone. "And how the [bleep] are they getting away with this [bleep]?" Reporters rival sailors for their proficiency in profanity, and one of the most experienced political journalists in Washington was cussing a blue streak Thursday evening as he railed against the shoddiness of Politico's reporting on the Herman Cain "scandal."

That’s a darn good analogy you used.
What’s sad is the number of Freepers jumping on this narrative as well.

Theres a code of ethics for journalists????? Whod a thunk it? There's one for trial layers too, and it's treated with about the same degree of reverence.

There are a whole lot of Freepers here who should have their tail between their legs.

They should now hang their heads in shame, and offer public apologies here on FREE REPUBLIC for treating Herman Cain this way. I have never seen anything like it. Horrid.

Rush Limbaugh is ON FIRE TODAY, on behalf and in the corner of a wronged man (Herman Cain), and sticking it to so many others (THOSE GOP/RINOS etc. who piled on him without any facts, only innuendo, and basically joined the Politico parade for their own self interests).
Rush is disgusted clearly by the whole behavior of those types within the GOP, and he gave as close of an endorsement of Herman Cain (outside of an actual endorsement) I think I have ever heard. Called Cain a man of great courage who does not flinch when things go terribly bad.

Now his team can learn to better handle onslaughts, but they do have to recognize that there has to be a quicker, stronger response.Yesterday I would have agreed. Today I see that the issue has changed and the journalists are attacking each other rather than attacking Cain. I'm not sure if Cain's folks managed this turnaround on purpose but the way its playing out is interesting. The conservative reporters, rather than being sucked into joining the liberal chorus, have turned their guns on their liberal cohorts.
At this moment, based on the polls and based on the press attacking each other, I would make Cain the winner.

I really hope the republicans realize people like me have had enough of their $hit.
Nominate anyone BUT Cain, and I’m keeping my happy a$$ home on election day. I’d rather have it out with the statists than suffer more of the status quo with their unending political betrayals.
Rush already warned them: nominate Romney and THEY risk becoming a “third party.”

Looks like Cain handled it just right after all!

Interestingly, that is pretty much exactly what Michael Medved was saying yesterday.

Unbelievable! This will backfire too. What is the punishment? His campaign gets fined?
Fine, we’ll end him more money. This is just more proof that he is really an outsider. The fact that he doesn’t know how to game the system like the others gives me hope.

He did. That is why I, personally, really liked Cain’s response to this. But that’s just me.
