And from such people turn away, for his name is Obama."

Something doesn’t add up. There are claims that: [1] Driver deliberately struck victims. [2] Driver and passenger switched places in car. Yet [3] Cops let driver go.

Well, they got their Kent State Moment alright. No, for that they needed an authority figure -- cop, guardsman -- to injure or kill someone. If this was just some joe-six-pack-citizen, who by their own definition is one of the "99%", then they got squat.

I don’t remember, do you walk down the road facing traffic or on the same side of the flow. It seems that has changed over the years. Maybe they didn’t get message.

At least 15 percent of Oakland teachers took today off to participate in the Occupy Oakland general strike, the school district said. A little more than 300 teachers missed work to join the strike, said Troy Flint, a district spokesman. The district won’t know exactly how many didn’t come to work until later today, Flint said....
Gretchen Bailey, a kindergarten teacher at Global Family School in Oakland for 15 years, said she took the day off without pay to protest both local budget cuts and the national goals of the Occupy Wall Street movement.
“I think we need new tax laws,” she said. “We all need to share more of the burden.”

that’s what I was thinking. If it was deliberate, they would not have let the guy go.

Interesting. If he's one of the people being paid by ACORN, his family will be entitled to death benefits ...maybe even some BIG bucks by way of wrongful death litigation. What kind of training was he given? Did his 'manager' explain the hazards of standing in traffic? Was his training documented?
Oooh, oooh - what about drug tests?

A serious injury, and they let the driver go? That part of the story doesn’t sound credible.

It's obvious this is leading to violence and chaos. This is only fatality #1. Now come the revenge killings.
