Cain Says Perry Camp Behind Sex Harassment Leak
forbes ^

Posted on 11/02/2011 1:12:28 PM PDT by Perdogg

Was the recent attack on Herman Cain’s presidential campaign a professional hit job? Absolutely, says Herman Cain. And he says he knows just where to look for the guy who did it: At 815 Slaters Lane in Alexandria, Virginia, a low-slung former warehouse in the shadow of a coal plant.

That is just what I was thinking, just because is says you were hired on Oct 24 does not mean that you were only there on that date. Maybe they wanted to know what crap he could spew first. Background checks, etc usually take a bit of time even with all the technology today.

I never addressed you and expect your immature self to do the same for me. Maybe Cain will invite you up to his room, but I won’t.

People jump in on threads all the time.

Get used to it. You know, as some of the Perrybots have said of Cain on this thread, "It's the big leagues, get used to it."

I'd love to be invited to Cain's room. He used to do ballistics for the Navy, I did molecular modeling and other classified stuff for the DoD. We can swap computer stories.

Cheers!

Please send me a link to the interview which mentions reconsidering: but then she will be smeared as an unstable flip-flopper.

(Best for her under such conditions would likely be to be VP to a Cain or a Newt, and springboard to the Presidency after 1 term.)

Cheers!

Hey, the naivete of the Cain campaign is charming, but it’s hardball here in the big leagues. Perry has been aired out, Romney has been aired out, Gingrich has been aired out.

Cain hasn’t been aired out. Harassment charges don’t just sit on the shelf; they are found, and every campaign has opposition research to make sure they know every foible and peccadillo.

I compare Cain's response to Clarence Thomas (spurious put-up charges) and Clinton's (from "vast right-wing conspiracy" from Hillary who was *in charge* of the Bimbo Eruptions Squad to "drag a $100 bill through a trailer park" to "it depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is) and I see he's innocent: note that even the original "bombshell" mentioned the gestures were NON-sexual: compare to Clinton's fellatio and anilingus in the Oval Office itself and suborning perjury with credible accusations of forcible rape.

You seriously aren’t surprised, are you?

Nothing the Perry whores do surprises me anymore: their chief has no character, is thoroughly dominated by his wife, and has the brains of a brick wall.

I *am* surprised that so many of his fans appear to take those things for positive qualities, though.

Cheers!

Yes, I am from Texas. Some of my ancestors were born here during the Republic.

My family and Rick Perry’s family came to Haskell County before 1890. His family was here 3 years before mine who came in 1889.

I know his parents, I know his wife’s family.

Yes, he was a Dem. I have always been a Republican. A vote for Richard Nixon was the first presidential ballot I cast.

But from the Civil War/Reconstruction until the 1960’s there were very few Republican office holders in Texas. But the Dems were much much more conservative than the Republicans. FACT.

That changed when the Left succeeded in completely taking over the Dem Party. Texas is now solidly Republican.

Yes, Rick has made some bonehead calls. Guardisil and The Trans Texas mess. The others were relatively minor in comparison.

But Rick has never been a Liberal. Never.

The Dems are laughing at our reaction to their propaganda. They have a hand in this. They are screaming in laughter at our division and the name calling among us.

This has to stop. A difference in opinion is one thing, but this habit of repeating the same old lame garbage as if no one had heard it before must stop.

Keep the eye on the ball, not the shell and the pea. We have an election that we must win and we must oust the Commie Bastards who are destroying the nation.

Re-read your memo: the theme is that the Palin supporters were the worst, not the Cain-iacs.

Cheers!

Perry has emphatically denied that he or his campaign had any part in this.

Rick Perry's presidential campaign says it is "absolutely not" responsible for leaking the fact that Herman Cain was accused of sexual misconduct while head of the National Restaurant Association to Politico, which broke the explosive story Sunday night.
"That is false, patently untrue, no one at this campaign was involved in this story," said Perry communications director Ray Sullivan.

Yet, you are quick to believe Cain but not Perry.

If Cain is guilty of sexual harassment, no one is going to care about who leaked it. He may win the GOP nomination despite this scandal, since so many conservatives are desperate to cling to his every word and find absolutely not at fault for his deficiencies, but he will be a weak candidate against Obama, and the liberals and the media will keep reminding the electorate about his actions.

Why else would you be posting from Pollutico as a reliable source?

Unless you meant merely to say, "Look, they're piling it on now, look out below!" in which case it has merit.

Cheers!

Oh, and by the way, I am old enough to remember Landslide Lyndon stealing the election from Coke Stevenson with George Pharr’s help. I was pretty young by had “friends” that were in the know.

Yes, Texas has had it share of political corruption. That was by Dems by the way.

Well glad to see you're still as obnoxious and your comments as irrelevant to the subject at hand as ever.

Glad you liked it.

Dude, you seem to to totally unaware of what is being reported.

IF I were unaware of what is being reported, I would not have sought to restore sanity to the thread by reminding people of the essentially trivial nature of the original "blockbuster" charges.

Put down the bottle and step away from the bar.

It's not alcohol...it's leftover Halloween candy on clearance.

Cheers!

Sure, if making excuses and pointing fingers is a good way of “handling it,” then Cain’s doing just fine!

Allegra -- it might do well for you to remember the essentially trivial nature of the original charges: "NON-sexual offensive gestures".

Compare that (as another FReeper has pointed out) to Obama's giving the finger in public on camera:

Compare Cain's response to Clarence Thomas's and to Clinton's.

Look at Cain's wife (compare to say Elliot Spitzer's wife, to Schwarzenegger's wife, to ...well, Weiner's wife, but lotsa folks think Huma was just Hillary's gal, so that one might not be fair.)

Cheers!

Victoria -- recall that the original allegations were of "NON-sexual gestures".

How did the accusations morph all of a sudden?

Secondly, look at Cain's wife. How is she looking compared to (say) Hillary, or Spitzer's wife?

What if Cain *is* innocent, as was Clarence Thomas?

(What would *really* be a popcorn fest is if Cain holds through to the nomination, and Hillary replaces either Biden *or* Obama on the Dem ticket. Stalemate.)

Cheers!

I know his parents, I know his wife’s family.

You poor thing. :-)

I don't expect a serious answer, since this is an admittedly snarky question.

About a week or ten days ago, several sources claimed that Anita was the one who prompted or is pushing Rick's run for the Oval Office (in apparent contradiction of his promise that he would stay as Gov. if elected, and not run for the White House).

From your knowledge of the family, as a "percentage" so to speak, how true is it that she is the one driving this?

Cheers!

I think it is our conservative desperation and the emotions run high...this Obozo monster has freaked us out. I just hope we can organize and keep it together and get him out.
