Posted on 11/02/2011 1:12:28 PM PDT by Perdogg

Was the recent attack on Herman Cain’s presidential campaign a professional hit job? Absolutely, says Herman Cain. And he says he knows just where to look for the guy who did it: At 815 Slaters Lane in Alexandria, Virginia, a low-slung former warehouse in the shadow of a coal plant.

My take on this is that Cain encountered 1, 2 or 3 ~ maybe even 4 women at the same time. They were all NRAss employees. They were DRUNK.

Maybe a couple of guys were with them ~ less drunk.

They invited the big boss to their table and he sits down and notices the problem and MAKES THE WOMEN FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE by suggesting they quit drinking if they want to keep their jobs.

He didn't criticize the guys because, alas, they weren't drunk.

The guys would have gone to the defense of the women because this was OFF THE CLOCK.

Cain would have seen it as a group of employees representing NRAss

The women would have been POd to have been selected out ~ imagining that their state wasn't notable ~ just the fact they were drinking. They imagined Cain was discriminating against them when he didn't criticize the men.

One of the current Cain critics admits HE WAS THERE.

I'd bet dollars to doughnuts that my take on the situation is pretty close to what we can get out of him in just a few minutes of appropriate WATERBOARDING ~ (at's the Republican way doncha' know).

The one ol'gal probably mouthed off ~ she got canned (with severance). The other three held their tongues ~ so did the guys. One of them even replaced Cain when he left. He's lucky Mr Cain won the EEO complaint ~ else his own life would have been a living hell later on as a replacement.

O hai.

Maybe you forgot in your frenzy and haste to smear a conservative, but the original allegations were unnamed, unsourced, and by definition were about "NON-sexual gestures" and must have been revealed in violation of a legally mandated non-disclosure agreement stipulated as part of the settlement.

Sounds like the 'made up' part was spot on.

Cheers!

Perry is the man for the job.

Yes, if your cat needs to flagellate something, he's the right target.

Kitty-whipped!

Cheers!

If that’s the case, it sounds like a mountain is being made out of a molehill then. Either way, FWIW, it eeks me to know what it takes for someone to call harrassment nowadays.

Hi, troll.

Regardless of signup date.

Why are you quoting Pollutico as though they have even a shred of credibility?

Cheers!

I just want the best nominee that we can get not named Romney. Sarah would be perfect! It’s painful watching all this stuff going on now.

Liberals and Progressives (Romney, Perry, etc) are so afraid of an independent successful black man.

Obama, Hillary, and Biden, are equally afraid. Primarily because they want a bunch of inept candidates that they can walk all over in the general election. I know that there’s plenty of smear that will hit any one of the GOP Candidates that gets the nomination.

The biggest thing for any progressive, whether GOP or Democrat to worry about, is the fact that he tows a different line than they expect a black man to tow, in the mind of a progressive, they have a stereotypical racial minority person being in the category of a welfare-dependent person, and they hate that mold being broken. If someone of their constituencies succeeds, it must be either of their party(Democrat) or of their general belief system (moderate to liberal Republican). However, Cain would sort of defy the expectations on both sides of the aisle.

What’s also intimidating about Cain is the fact that he worked up in business. Implying he had to wield executive skills of accountability and decision-making along the way, as well. I figure some people are chewing on that for what it’s worth as well.

Freep has gone from rational discussions and defences of one’s candidate favorite to sleezy name calling and yes, worshipping slavishly.

Yes, that's true: it came to a head when Perry operatives flooded the site.

If they'd crawl under the rocks they came from FR would return to its former heights.

Cheers!

Cain is handling it far better than Mr. Kitty-Whipped is handling his defeat at the hands of Mr. Cain.

If it weren't for Anita, do you think Rick would have have conceded graciously by now, rather than trying for scorched earth? /sarc>

Cheers!

Uh, I have gotten more flaming from the Cain group, whether I said something positive about Perry or tried to respond, or even said something positive about any other candidate, including Newt.

Dude, you seem to to totally unaware of what is being reported. I am only discussing the smears that are going on between the candidates all over the media now.

Put down the bottle and step away from the bar.

When is Cain going to provide proof the Perry was involved with leaking the story?

When Perry provides proof he wasn't.

If Perry's going to try to recover his place by innuendo, he's going to die by innuendo too.

Cheers!

Sure, if making excuses and pointing fingers is a good way of “handling it,” then Cain’s doing just fine!

It all happened on ONE DAY at ONE EVENT where about four women and two men had been present DRINKING and PARTYING.

It was close enough to his apartment at the time Cain offered to send one of the ol'gals home to his apartment to sleep it off. Another ol'gal must have mouthed off or swung on the boss. The other two women, and the two guys, kept their mouths shut!

OK, try this.

Cain did ballistics calculations for the Navy, Perry flunked organic chemistry.

Cain turned around real businesses in the real world without handouts, Perry takes credit for no income taxes in a state that had no income taxes long before he arrived on the scene.

Cain is a self-made man, Perry bought a $300,000 property with help from an influential GOP insider during his *first* year as governor, which property tripled in value in six years.

Cain is a real man, Perry is Kitty-Whipped.

Save a pretzel for the gas jets.

Cheers!

I simply don’t believe Perry did this. Sorry, flame away, but I do not believe it......

You're from Texas, it is natural that you cannot CONCEIVE of the possibility that another Texan EVER did ANYTHING wrong.

Fail.
