ALEXANDRIA, Va. — It’s getting rougher on the campaign trail for Herman Cain — and for the people who cover him.
Mr. Cain arrived at a Hilton hotel in suburban Virginia on Wednesday morning for what was advertised to the news media as a meeting on health care reform, which was to be followed by a news conference. But he immediately disappeared into what organizers of the meeting, Docs4PatientCare, called a “closed-door session.” Upon emerging, a mob of hotel security and other campaign personnel pushed back against the assembled photographers, and a little bit of a scrum and tussle ensued, with at least one newspaper photographer taking a hard blow to the face.
All the while, Mr. Cain, who looked unusually agitated in the center of it all, was screaming: “Excuse me! Excuse me! Excuse me!”
The mob, with Mr. Cain still in the middle, made its way into a second conference room where Mr. Cain delivered a short statement that borrowed lines from his stump speech. “I was thrilled to be here,” he said, adding later, “I feel passionate about the repeal of ‘Obamacare.’”

Cain wasn’t screaming. He was raising his voice, and yet smiling the whole time.
They ARE misrepresenting the situation.

like a gentleman addressing a slow child,
said “what part of ‘no’ don’t they understand?”

By not making it clear, the reporter appears to imply that Mr. Cain hit a photographer in the face.
I’m glad you’re now aboard the Cain train! Send him all the money you can afford, he’ll need it to win the general election.

Message to Mr.Herman Cain!!! Mr. Cain, I know this hurtful destructive war against you is painful to you, your wife, your family and millions of your loyal supporters. The attacks, however, IMHO, will continue unabated from your enemies of all stripes. You represent a sea change to these people, whoever they are. You represent the change of the elitist establishment that has worked so diligently to tear America down. Sir, you and only you, must reach inward and continue on just as Washington did in our Revolution and Lincoln did during the civil war. America stands firm today because of the pain and personal attack that these freedom builders sustained. Yes, it is hard and....it is also hard on all around you, including the persons of accusations. They, like Anita Hill are being used as pawns to be discarded, thrown onto a garbage heap after, the vultures around them get to pick their bones clean. I pray, they have the good sense not to enter this failing fray, by honoring their agreements which are in place to protect them also. Our Lord in his wisdom has chosen you to become both savior and game changer in this American moment. You must, for your sake and....more importantly ours, stay strong, above the fray and focused on the end result for you and your country, America. I can assure you, the Lord has ordained that you have been chosen to forge America into one nation with equality, liberty, opportunity and freedom for all Americans and future Americans to come. If it is the video I just watched linked from Drudge, I thought he was extraordinarily calm about the whole deal, shrugs. Eye of the beholder I guess, but again, from my POV, he was very clear with them. They ignored what he said and blocked the way, so he responded with three increasingly firm “excuse mes”, before he commented aloud about what part of no they did not understand, lol.

Yeah, totally unfair to Cain. Poor SOB doesn’t have a chance - the media is in full destruction mode now. They created the scene and are making Cain look like he caused it!
Watch the video. The reporter scum were the ones screaming, not Cain. The report is a lie.

scrum - 1 b : a usually brief and disorderly struggle or fight : scrape, scuffle
2 b : a usually tightly packed or disorderly crowd : throng
Either way, these reporters appear to be the "Scrum of the Earth".
