Thanks, but the rumors of a great purge are grossly exaggerated. What I have posted many times is that there will be no campaign for Romney on this pro-life, pro-family, pro-gun, pro-small government conservative site.

You made a mistake marty60. I had a big ol' family with 3 uncles, 9 aunts, dozens of great aunts and great uncles, and everybody was a combat vet or worked in a war industry somewhere ~ and many had actually pulled ploughs when the tractors were broke down and the horses were sick.

Then, there were those 35 first cousins ~ most of them with bright red hair (or near to it), ready to fight at the drop of a hat AND half of them girls ~ meanest girls you ever did see in fact. Kick you around the block without even thinking about it.

Heck no, and likely never will. Those who refuse to compete, die off. There is a saying in investing: “Risk rewards the brave, and rejects the cowardly”. Without investment (i.e. putting your business profits BACK into your business), a retail outlet dies. Not so different with websites.

Other conservative sites like TownHall, FoxNews, SeekingAlpha etc are laughing at this site. Just read the comments.

But, these 'purges', IMO, are not overly healthy for FR.

In my 13 years here, these are the ONLY TIMES I EVER have a disagreement with the boss. It's not like this is the first time.

I'm not committed to any candidate at this point... Cain is my first choice... based on what I've heard thus far. Perry, probably second.. but, a pretty distant second. But, I'm not so clueless as to think there is ZERO chance Romney won't be the Republican nominee. I don't want to think about that.. and, I'm ACTIVELY working with Tea Parties in my home town, and in Houston to make sure it DOESN'T happen.. But, it might.

In the grand scheme of things... I don't think it's a great thing to get SO worked up about Mitt, that you CAN'T... or WON'T support him against Obama.
