Free Republic founder Jim Robinson has a message for supporters of Mitt Romney: go away.
In an email to POLITICO this afternoon, Robinson admitted that the site routinely blocks Romney supporters from posting -- and offered no apologies for the practice:
Free Republic is a pro-life, pro-family, pro-gun, pro-small government, pro-constitution, pro-liberty site. Governor Romney is none of the above. His record is that of an abortionist, gay rights pushing, gun grabbing, global warming advocating, big government, mandate loving, constitution trampling, flip-flopping liberal progressive with no core values. That and the fact that he is the chief architect and advocate for ObamaCare disqualifies him for any consideration whatsoever on Free Republic as a potential nominee for the presidency.

Jim,
My apologies. I was under the impression that FUMR meant something else. Guess I’ve been around the drilling rig crews too much. :o)
Ha!!
You understand don’t you that the founders were conservatives AND libertarians don’t you?
Property rights, the freedom to defend such, and the freedom to move about and speak and associate freely are central to both positions.
There are way too many establishment Republicans and even moreso Democrats who are just too willing to wittle away at those right when pushing their agendas.
Unfortunately, Romney is right up their on that list. Yet your concern is Ron Paul?
How about next time you be more specific when discounting Ron Paul. I for example am ever watchful on Ron Paul when it comes to controlling our borders - cause the Anarchist aspect of some elements of the Libertarian camp lend to “open borders” support.
...I’m just waiting for that foot to fall. Until then, Ron Paul is not a concern...until then.
=8-)
Aye Jim, it isn’t to late for conservatives to exhibit some backbone!
Time is short!
Be Ever Vigilant!
The fact is you little boys can’t stand a strong woman that will not sit by and let brainless Cainiacs, lie, slander and spew filthy postings in her direction.
I did not have a sister OR female cousins. If I wanted to play, I had to play by the boys rules. I learned the game early.
What did you guys think I would slink back into the kitchen. SURPRISE.
When Perry first announced many of us found outright lies and attempts at innuendo’s. When we posted FACTS. We began to see the spamming by the Cainiacs and their disgusting mouths. If you can’t take the heat stay out of the kitchen BOYS.
Second all you said!!
"Freep You"? Suuuuure that's what it means...
Well, Mr. Multi-Time Retread Troll, in the service we used to say FUBAR when something or someone was fouled up beyond all repair, and I think that fits you to a tee.
zot
FUGG
Only because I knew McCain was a fricking reach across RINO too!! And the deal was done...by the time we got to vote here in OK.
Are you really saying....Romney is the most qualified?
If a person is 100% against anything...why would they support anyone that’s for anything?

marinedadnavyvet was one on my short life list.
Romney was doing as his religion said and was pro life, among other things
______________________________________________
Romney’s religion is not pro-life...
Their stance is except for incest, rape and the health of the mother...(which of course can be interprested as anything...)
Just as Roe V Wade first started out...
The mormons just require a woman to pray with her Mormon bishop for whatever first and then if her Mormon gods tell her to go ahead its alright...
Mormons dont have a clear doctrine on just when life begins in the womb...
Looky I got da beast and 1/6
