Embattled presidential candidate Herman Cain decided to try to sing away his blues during an appearance at the National Press Club today.
The former pizza magnate burst into an a capella rendition of a gospel song as questions about alleged decade-old claims of sexual harassment swirled.
Saying he wanted to share his faith with the assembled reporters, Cain used his rich baritone voice to nail a verse from the Dottie Rambo number He Looked Beyond My Fault and Saw My Need.

If he were interviewing for a pastor position, okay. But he isn’t. He’s done.

What are you talking about? He’s “done” because he sang or because of the crackpot Politico lies? WTH are you talking about? Either way, you’re wrong.

He’s done. I don’t think he ever thought he’d make it this far and he’s just not prepared. Sorry, this was not good. I like him, I hope there’s a place for him in the next Republican administration, just not the oval office.

If they asked him to strip and run around flapping his arms, would he?

He is showing the whorehouse media the respect they deserve. Sorry you didn't get it. Thanks for playing though.

I pray Mr Cain is having a good time. He’s different. Very different. Unique. He’s going to be a fantastic change at the White House. It will be nice having our House filled with love, laughter and God. I feel that Mr Cain is an honest man. With God’s guidance he’ll set this Country on the right track again.

That is not a talent...singing IS a talent, especially with his voice. They also gave him a standing ovation.

I get it. He is accused of sexual harassment and he responds by singing a hymn at the National Press Club.
Perhaps you should thank Cain for playing.

This isn’t the first time he’s sung. He’s sung on the campaign trail at various places and through-out his life. Just look it up on YouTube.
As I said, he didn’t ask to sing...they asked him to sing. He was being gracious to their request.
