Arizona's maverick Sheriff Joe Arpaio promised surprises in his jurisdiction's investigation of Barack Obama's eligibility for the presidential ballot and his Cold Case Posse is delivering – raising questions that touch on the authenticity of the long-form birth certificate issued last April and the possibility Obama is using a fraudulent Social Security Number.
Sources close to the investigation say the posse has decided it needs to see original birth records before it can conclude whether Obama should be eligible for the presidential ballot in 2012, not an electronic file or scanned copies.
The sources say the panel needs to examine the microfilm documenting Obama's birth, as well as the ink-and-paper original 1961 birth records the Hawaii Department of Health is holding in its vault.
The PDF file and various scanned copies of the birth certificate that the White House released April 27 are simply not good enough, the posse has determined.
Earlier this month, WND senior staff reporter Jerome R. Corsi spent 18 hours over a two-day period in Arizona briefing the Cold Case Posse on a wide range of evidence regarding Obama's eligibility.
"The posse wants to see the entire microfilm roll containing Obama's birth certificate, not just a microfilm copy of Obama's long-form birth certificate in isolation," Corsi explained. "An individual microfilm copy could be forged, but forging the entire microfilm reel on which Obama's birth certificate is in sequence would be almost impossible."
Also, Corsi said, the posse wants the ink-and-paper original 1961 Obama birth records still held in vault by the Hawaii Department of Health to be released publicly and subjected to independent court-authorized forensic examination.

Sheriff Joe is no fool, even if he is foolin' around with Birtherism.
Which is why he is having a make believe "cold case posse" of "unpaid volunteers," and nothing remotely resembling a law enforcement officer (LEO), conduct this investigation. There are laws against law enforcement agencies conducting rogue investigations, not aimed at a crime, or potential crime, within the jurisdiction of the agency.
That tells you all you need to know about just how likely he thinks it is that his "posse" will uncover evidence of a fraudulent attempt to get on the ballot. He knows that it won't, and is making sure his actions don't get him in trouble with the law.
Which makes him the most competent legal strategist that Birtherism has.
Good morning, Rip van Winkle! Apparently you've missed the fact that for the past 2.5 years Obama's cronies have done all in their power to destroy Sheriff Joe. The latest futile attempt this past summer with a Department of "Justice" investigation over alleged "misappropriation of public funds" by Joe.
Obama and his cronies have already done their level best to destroy Joe, and they've failed. This is merely payback. Joe's in the driver's seat now, and it's gonna get really interesting very soon....

No, those are make believe. Only Obama supporters are stupid enough to believe in Unicorns... or ask about them.
It doesn't work that way. The Sheriff can keep Obama off the ballot (in his county) unless Obama complies to the Sheriff's satisfaction. Obama would have to go to court to stop him, at which time the Sheriff can present evidence and demand discovery. Not a good move for Obama.

If the Sheriff wanted something from Hawaii, sure. But Obama wants something from Maricopa county, (ballot access.) not the other way around. If Jan Brewer hadn't been such a backstabber, the entire State would be a trap for Obama.
And that only proves that much of the current legal system needs to be excised root and branch.

Just because Barack Hussein Obama II, born in Mombasa, Kenya in the Coast Provincial General Hospital, fooled us once about his “Hawaii” birthplace, is no reason for us not to demand his true certificate of birth for the 2012 AMERICAN National Election.
The difference is that Sherriff Joe might have the power to prevent Obama from registering in Arizone, as required to run as president.
Maybe we won’t beat him with it.
But if found true, these allegations can get him thrown out of office and prosecuted for all sorts of mail and wire fraud.
Michelle can’t defend him because she has already been disbarred for insurance fraud......

What’s silly is that the biggest crook in our lifetime is sitting in the Whitehouse destroying the USA and you are worried about what one sheriff in one county might do to unmask him.

In a sort of humorous way this development has some parallels to the first Dirty Harry movie. The serial killer “Scorpio” used every trick in the book including paying to have himself beaten up and getting, blaming Dirty Harry and hiring a lawyer to keep detectives from following him around. The movie ended shortly after Clint Eastwood, Dirty Harry said to “Scorpio”, “You've got to ask yourself a question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?” I see Obama responding to Sheriff Joe shortly before the election... the same way Scorpio responded to Harry.
