Ann Coulter responds to a report from the "liberal publication" Politico that Herman Cain sexually harassed two women while he was the president of the National Restaurant Association.
The most damning part of the report, which is not well sourced, seems to be that Mr. Cain made "physical gestures" that weren't sexual in nature, but made the women uncomfortable:
There were also descriptions of physical gestures that were not overtly sexual but that made women who experienced or witnessed them uncomfortable and that they regarded as improper in a professional relationship.

Cain is expecting these smears. See what he said back in May. (Especially the last paragraph below):

Herman Cain sounds off on race, a debate win, and the need to simplify government

[snip] .... “Here’s my theory,” said Cain, leaning forward in his chair. “Let’s talk about the current field of Republican candidates. They can’t go after Obama as hard as I can because they’re not black. I think that, either subconsciously or deliberately, they are being coached to not say it a certain way, that you’re going to be labeled a racist and the liberal media is going to try to bring you down, because they still want to protect their precious Obama.”
Cain believes his audiences are a different story. “The voters, they hear my message first, not ‘He could take it to Obama,’ because they are more concerned about stopping Obama than taking it to Obama,” he explained. “This is what I’m hearing and this is what I’m feeling. And the race card is going to be short-lived if Herman Cain gets the nomination.”
“They’re going to come after me more viciously than they would a white candidate,” Cain responded. “You’re right. Clarence Thomas. And so, to use Clarence Thomas as an example, I’m ready for the same high-tech lynching that he went through — for the good of this country.” Cain smiled broadly. “I’m ready for the same high-tech lynching.” .........” [snip]
Interesting how quickly Ann comes to deflect blame away from Romney and Rove for their hit on Cain.
That was exactly my first thought when I saw her name.
> Mr. Cain made “physical gestures” that weren’t sexual in
> nature, but made the women uncomfortable.
Not sexual in nature?
Then what was it?
Was he eating with his mouth open?
Was he getting uppity?
Ann must think we’re stupid.
People bought all of those books, so stupid I think not, but gullible?
Exactly!!! Not sexual in nature??? What a pathetic attack. If it wasn’t so insulting it would be hilarious.
I don't know about "we" Kemosabe, but you seem to be either paranoid or stupid. Ann is a valuable member of the conservative coalition. On the other hand, you seem eager to destroy conservatives who don't meet your specific criteria. Who is the enemy here?
No , she knows people here may be a lot of things but stupid is not one of them . She knows as we do that more than 50% of Americans are below average. I missed the Rove Romney connection to the story . I prefer to wait rather than get into a rumor fight . It is a waste of time.
Ann Coulter is in this for the liberal republican candidate.
She cannot ever be trusted again.
Funny how the Romneybots are out in full force tonight...
Hey he is a neocon. What do you expect?
Ann Coulter recent actions speak volumes about the direction her idelogy is heading.
Conservative? LMAO. I like how the libtard wing of the republican party is trying to redefine what a conservative is.
Conservative principles are not flexible or negotiable to fit the current days way of thinking.
that made “women” who experienced them or witnessed them uncomfortable...
Taken right from the Anita Hill playbook.
Ann Coulter is morphing into a faux conservative version of Maureen Dowd.
Sounds like it was a frivolous lawsuit that the restaurant association settled rather than waste money defending. And since the accusers are not on the record (at least yet), he can't really respond. If they were on the record, that would break the agreement and he could talk about it. I'm sure like Whoraldo the Politico people were well aware of that.
