Sure, that works for people who have already become wealthy and who have no overwhelming need for additional income. They can choose not to work, and thus avoid paying taxes. In all this talk about taxing the 'wealthy', I never hear Obama pushing for a tax on accumulated wealth. Thus the millionaires are safe sitting on their wealth.
But what about those people who are not millionaires but are working hard to become millionaires? Those are the people who will be hurt most by this. It's not the millionaires he should be asking, but instead he should be asking those aspiring to become millionaires. Baraq Obama is the status quo's dream come true.

Start with Obama,Kerry,Pelosi, Reid, all the democratic millionairs and tax their wealth (not income) at 50%. You would see this talk come to a screeching halt!
