Yeah, but there was a poll out today saying that in all four primary states, IA, NH, SC, and FL Romney is up-—in some cases way up.

CNN poll.
They have always had Romney up. That’s just the ‘rats telling us who THEY want to win.

I’m totally curious - just for grins - to see where Palin is on that chart. I’ll bet she’s doing pretty well even though she’s not even running. Could they nominate her anyway??

She finished it for me last night lying about Cain’s abortion position on Hannity. Has no problem with Mitt’s but has a problem with Cain’s and lies. Pathetic.

She finished it for me last night lying about Cains abortion position on Hannity. That was pathetic. She stands absolutely zero chance of defeating Romney but employed a non-issue to attack the only candidate who does?
Unforgivable.

Thank you Herman Cain for showing us that there are more blacks out there who are not like Obama, who don't want to be on either side of government dependency programs, who believe in America and it's traditional Christian values, self-sustaining freedom, hard work, and free market capitalism.
God bless you.

The thing people need to remember is that as the lower candidates start dropping out, where will those votes go?
They won't be going to Romney, or they would already be there.
So the race is really between “everyone but Romney”.
And these polls that show Republican-X vs. Obama don't really take that into account.
When the Republicans are done vetting all the candidates, and when we choose one to go up against Obama, it will be an easy victory for our side.
It only looks iffy now because our vote is so divided among so many potential Republican candidates.
In my opinion, the lower-tier candidates are hurting this country by staying in the race right now. They should disappear so that American can learn more about the candidates who may actually have a chance of becoming the nominee.

From an article on Forbes.com:
“Cain is the second choice of Perry, Bachmann, Gingrich and Santorum voters, polls show. If some or all of them are out by the time New Hampshire Republicans go to the polls, Cain will benefit. Only Huntsman voters would shift to Romney, polls indicate.”
So when those lower tier candidates start dropping out, those votes will go to Cain.
Those lower tier candidates need to drop out NOW.
(Full disclosure: I am undecided, but looking hard at both Gingrich and Cain.)

Much like what the government does with unemployment statistics, the following chart represents a 4-poll "rolling average" for the latest 20+ polls listed at RealClearPolitics.com (plus latest 2 polls from YouGov).
I also weighted the polls by their size. For example, a poll with a survey size of 1000 was weighted proportionately heavier than an 324 survey size.
Weighted 4-Poll Rolling Averages of the latest 20+ Polls listed at RCP [as of Oct 26]
plus the "YouGov" 10/18 and 10/11 polls inserted chronologically
