I love your tagline. My wife and I have been living closely with the Lord the past few days as my youngest daughter (19yo) was killed in a car crash this past weekend. The Lord is faithful, and in Christ we find grace.
I am sooooo sorry to hear that. My youngest daughter is 19 as well, and I cannot imagine the grief of losing her.
I will be praying for you and am going to ping a few others to do so as well.
Prayer ping for post 35.
Oh my goodness. Prayers up for you and your wife at this time.
Prayers up for your family.
Terribly sorry for your loss. Prayers up for you and your family.
Psalm 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me
Outliving your child is this life’s bitterest pill.
Good to know that they’re with the Lord, but that must be shallow comfort right now. Praying for you!
Prayers for your whole family and your daughter. Very sorry to hear of this.
May the grace of God be with you, as well as the undying love of Jesus Christ. As a parent that experienced this kind of almost unbearable loss, I can tell you there is reason for hope.
Prayers up. I send Isaiah 61:3 to you.
we will keep you and your family in our prayers.
Very sad news....... but rejoicing that you know the Lord and He will surely see you thru this time.
Father God,
As this family looks to you for comfort and assurance we ask that in and thru this your name might be glorified as you walk closely with them now..... May your good Spirit carry them the moments when it becomes hard to walk...and give them peace of mind and heart that you do all things well for the children of God and those called according to His purpose.
In Christ’s name,...Amen.
My heart goes out to you during this time of devastating loss.
May Our Lord comfort you and your family.
Oh my gosh! I am so sorry to hear that! You are a strong person. I think I’d probably curl up into a ball and be angry with God - at least for a while. The fact that you can still praise God and keep your faith in a difficult time like this speaks to the kind of people you are your wife are. I will include you, your wife, and your family in my prayers. I’ll ask that God hold you in his loving arms during this difficult time. My condelences for your loss. :(
That is so awful.
My prayers for you and your family
I am so sorry to hear of your loss and join with all the others here lifting you and the loved ones up to God for His peace, blessing and guidance as you deal with your daughter’s homegoing.
I am soooo sory for your loss. Please allow me to pray for you.
My condolences. It’s truly a sad thing when a parent must bury a child!
You never know how things will work out! I put down my little web surfer after I posted my last to you, then opened my Bible and the little devotional book, “Our Daily Bread,” and just what was today’s topic, but about two families who had lost teenaged daughters unexpectedly. The scripture was Psalm 37:23-26, where the Psalmist speaks of God upholding the righteous in His hands, especially during times of sorrow and trouble. May He uphold you and yours in this time of sorrow!
My goodness, Zeugma, I am so sorry. God have mercy.
