Rick Santorum
Santorum served two terms in the U.S. House and two terms in the U.S. Senate. He became the Senate's third-ranking Republican in 2001. He was defeated for reelection in 2006.
CNN post-debate: David Rodham Gergan says, Obama White House celebrating tonight after watching this debate. LMAO!
Santorum actually impressed me tonight. Cain lost some of his shine. Perry did a bit better, but he still comes off as somewhat slow and dull. Mitt looked weaselly. Bachmann is shrill (and I used to really like her) and Ron Paul is nuts. Newt is still the smartest guy in the room, but he’s still Newt.
No, you have stock tanks. (I actually am familiar with much of the border, so I’m not speculating).
It’s great! Just makes it difficult to keep up with the posts on this thread and eat pizza too. lol.
Mu, you're being obtuse. Again.
And were you aware that, in much of Texas, when you drill a well you're more likely to strike oil than water? It's a geologic fact that made the Waggoners and the Klebergs very unhappy.
But consider this: Why build a fence that serves to keep your own people away from the river? But allows the other side free and unfettered access?
Doesn't make sense.
Think "secure borders". Don't think "fence".
If so, anyone who is nominated by the GOP - even Newt - can beat Obambi (or Biden if Zero is forced to step down).
It was the way Perry argued with Romney. It made Romney look like a little spoiled punk.
NYC-Conserv has bit the ozone. Zot.
Hahahaha!!! Try to enjoy in between posts. ;o)
Oh please. Not even the left-wing radicals in the White Hut are that stupid. It's not real.
My brother and I just talked about this and we agree, Newt’s our only real chance. No matter what else Obama is, he’s a good debater. If we’re going to have a shot, we’ve got to put forward our best candidate.
What a disingenuous ass.
If he's learned anything from the demonrats it's that if you say something forcefully enough, most folks take it as the truth without examining the history of what you say. How many non-FReepers would "get" what you just did? :)
I thought that she was more fair to Perry than the others, surprised me.
Perry couldn’t possibly have been awful because some notorious Cain supporters gave him a few props.
Everyone watches these things with a biased eye.
We don’t like Romney so we swear up and down he lost the debate. The ‘smarts’ on the news channels may say he won it.
The Cain people think he handled himself well, of course.
And, when I watch it, I’ll probably think Perry was great.
Was Huntsman even there? Did Ron Paul get the usual lot of questions as liberals love to ask him questions in order to embarrass Republicans.
LOL!
Fast and Furious may be the reason Hillary just said it is time to give someone else a chance. Sounds like she is getting out after this term and that is it. Maybe she may be named in the investigation.
Sarah is on with Greta - she agrees with us that Newt won the debate walking away!
A couple of the others were into bickering...LOL.
Gee, which two were that?
She’s mentioning Cain in good terms!
That’s a compliment, btw. ;o)
Damn straight. I don’t care what Mitt SAYS, when he had the chance to ACT he took the Obama route - on immigration, on healthcare, on the environment, etc.
Why other candidates can’t point that out I don’t know.
