Stick a fork in her...
Another twit heard from!

Please don’t think I was suggesting that Bush was responsible, far from it. My accusation is that he is going to be the scapegoat. Obama and the MSM will make sure that ANYBODY but OBAMA or his administration takes the blame.
Got an almost word for word answer from my State senator, Maria Cantwell, Washington State. Must be the Dems talking points du jour.
I apologize. I did misunderstand.
2 things:
Amazing how many Dems are stupid enough to start a slow suicide of their political career by supporting Barry the Imposter & Holder with various commiques. Even beyond stupid. They should be running from any such missives with all their throttles wide open. Come election day, they are giving their opposing candidates lots of ammunition.
“90% of the weapons traced from Mexico were purchased in the USA”
There is a major hole in that statement, which no one seems to grasp. “OF THE WEAPONS TRACED”
If they collect 5000 weapons & then they only ‘trace’ 50 of them & ignore the rest...and find that ‘those 50 have 45 traced back to the USA’, then this percentage works.
I maintain that they are collecting thousands of weapons—from a great number of sources, including, I suspect, Hugo Chavez’s country & even the Middle East. I maintain that they are only even ‘attempting to trace’ weapons which are very OBVIOUSLY USA guns.
The statistics are being twisted beyond belief.
And if they really believed 90% of the guns were from the U.S. why would they purposely give them more.
No doubt about that, some of the more egregious examples being full auto M-16, 40mm grenade launchers, crew served machine guns, &c. None of these ever passed through an American gun store, zero, nada, zilch. These weapons are legitimate items of commerce and have been sold to the Mexican military and Federal and local police. I would suspect that the cartels know how to pressure a supply sergeant to leave a gate unlocked and then take a long break (we know where your mother lives...). They also know how to encourage desertion (we have a much better salary schedule, don't forget to bring your gun along). All of these weapons are clearly marked as US manufacture but left the US under the aegis of Hillary's Department of State. Nothing wrong with any of that until the corruption starts in Mexico, then the duplicitous bastards blame us because they can't hang on to what they bought and paid for.

0bungles knew that Holder didn't know before Holder knew that he didn't know.
How Did Obama Know About "Fast and Furious" Before Holder?
And then there is this...
"Grenade-walking" part of "Gunwalker" scandal
And this...
Worse Than Gunwalker? State Dept. Allegedly Sold Guns to ZetasPhil Jordan, a former CIA operative and one-time leader of U.S. Drug Enforcement Administrations El Paso Intelligence Center, claims that the Obama administration is running guns to the violent Zetas cartel through the direct commercial sale of military grade weapons:
Jordan, who served as director of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administrations El Paso Intelligence Center in 1995, said the Zetas have shipped large amounts of weapons purchased in the Dallas area through El Paso.
(snip)
Theyve found anti-aircraft weapons and hand grenades from the Vietnam War era, Plumlee said. Other weapons found include grenade launchers, assault rifles, handguns and military gear including night-vision goggles and body armor.
More about State Department involvement...
has sources claiming Obamas man in the State Department, (former) Deputy Secretary of State Jim Steinberg, was the State Department operative who helped Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and the Department of Justice Deputy Attorney General David Ogden formulate the strategy that led to the tactics used in Operation Fast and Furious.Steinberg took office as Deputy Secretary of State on January 28, 2009
A little more than two years later, it was announced that Steinberg's time in the Obama State Department was over. From the New York Times, 30 March 2011:
Mrs. Clinton heaped praise on Mr. Steinberg, describing him as an indispensable partner. On every foreign policy challenge, big and small, he has helped formulate our policy and oversee its execution, she wrote. Mr. Steinberg, she said, played Oscar to Jack Lews Felix, referring to Jacob J. Lew, her other deputy, who left earlier this year to become Mr. Obamas budget director.

Sipsey Street Exclusive: "In at the beginning." The State Department & the Gunwalker Scandal.
Which comes to this...
Grassley to ask for resignation of highest-level person who signed off on Fast and Furious
Which just doesn't seem like enough.
Operation "Wide Receiver" involved fitting the guns with radio transmitters, following them to the border, and telling the Mexican authorities when to take up the tracking.
The cartels countered by delaying border crossing until the US surveliance aircraft had to land, then crossing the border unobserved, and parking the guns until the batteries died.
When this was realized, the plug was pulled on the operation.
"Fast and Furious" involved handing the guns (without transmitters) to the gangs and forgetting about them until they turned up at crime scenes
Here’s the reply I receieved from muh republican congressperson back in July. It’s a tough call on which one projects more concern for country...
Thank you for contacting me regarding Project Gunrunner. Your input is a vital part of the legislative process, and I appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns.
As you are aware, Project Gunrunner is the name of an operation conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE) in which the BATFE works with friendly South American governments to track shipments of firearms through the trafficking operations of drug cartels in the region. Reports of abuse of the program, specifically sales of a large number of guns to Mexican cartels by BATFE agents in order to artificially inflate the success of the program have recently emerged.
My colleague in the Senate, Senator Charles Grassley has written and asked the BATFE to respond to allegations of suspicious firearm transactions. In the letter, he questions the agencys conduct of Project Gunrunner and specifically questions whether the agency tried to silence an internal whistleblower, who noticed this error. Rep. Issa has also begun his own investigation into these matters.
I will continue to monitor this situation closely as these two investigations progress and more information comes to light with your input in mind...
I’m still trying to figure out this sentence...’Reports of abuse of the program, specifically sales of a large number of guns to Mexican cartels by BATFE agents in order to artificially inflate the success of the program have recently emerged.’
It must be from the baffle them with BS seminar they have to attend.
I think it would be interesting if more responses from our political leaders were posted. Do a compare and contrast thing to determine the keepers. The keepers for congress, I mean.
