Eric Cantor doing the Rino walk.....

Posted on 10/17/2011 7:12:42 AM PDT by AngelesCrestHighway

Way to go Cantor! That didn't take long! You big Weenie!

...A top Republican in Washington dramatically altered his stance on protesters involved in Occupy Wall Street just one week after comparing the movement to “angry mobs”. Eric Cantor, the Republican majority leader in the House of Representatives, told Fox News on Sunday that Republicans agreed there was “too much” income disparity in the country. “More important than my use of the word [‘mobs’] is that there is a growing frustration out there across the country and it is warranted. Too many people are out of work,” he said.

If you believe in ANY FORM OF WEALTH REDISTRIBUTION... you are a marxist. I am not surprised one bit at cantor... or any of the republican leadership. Those of you that still have faith in the party leadership are fools being fooled.

This is nothing of the kind. This is Cantor at his usual limp wristed whiney milk toast best.

This man is a caver. He is one of those “I am too much of a gentleman to fight for squat” party of ignorant politicians.

I understand the concern conservatives have about Cantor moving to the RINO herd...I share them...however, I appreciate your very reasoned point about this situation.

Wake up, people! This was a slam at Obama. Everything the protestors are complaining about has happened during his administration.

If this were true, Zero wouldn't be in trouble right now, but he is. If this were true, there wouldn't be a Tea Party, or Independents who've left the Democrats in droves and continue to do so.

Sorry, this is nothing but years of conditioning that has taught the GOP to continually accept the Dems premise. If there is internal polling, it's being conducted by RINOs like Rove and Billl Kristol.

Sorry, but I'll wager the majority of Americans are sickened by this class warfare crap.

While I accept Sarah’s position not run (She’s been through Crap); I reject the idea that being free from the constraints of the presidency would make her more effective. I’ve rarely heard anything from her about these protests, or about the limp-wristed GOP elites? I knew when she opted not to run her effectiveness would be LESS EFFECTIVE.

The income disparity that Cantor speaks to is caused by too many people on the public dole. Until this nation brings accountablility for individual well being back tpo the individual, the rich will get richer and the poor will get poorer!!!

Uh, the rich have moved their companies to China putting millions of liberal AND conservative Americans on the public dole...

And why did they do this??? So they could get even richer...

So what kind of accountability are you referring to for these folks that have no jobs to go to???

Simple, the accountability for their own lives and destiny!!! Our problem is “Big Brother” government. My friend, you cannot run a company without making a profit, so....yes, businesses go offshore where they can operate with profit to the benefit of their shareholders and....not be completely hindered by needless & useless government regulations and rules. And....if someone wants to work, starting from the bottom, work can be found!!! Now. I’m sure you do not agree with me, but I’ll tell you this. Our government is going to run out of money and soon, the “Obama Stash” will be no more!!! Too bad, you are not too well versed on reality and economics. I ‘ll make it simple, even for you!!! At the end of the day, my friend, there is no such thing as a free lunch!!!

Cantor would not have shifted his position from “they are a mob” to “they have a valid point” in seven days if some internal pollsters had not come to him and gotten his mind right.

If this were true, Zero wouldn't be in trouble right now, but he is.

A whole lot of Barry's negatives come from people who feel he has not moved far enough left fast enough, has not distributed his stash quickly enough, and has not punished enough bankers yet.

So condescension is not limited to liberals, I see...

There are a lot of people eating the free lunch...But while you people take away the means for these people to buy their own lunch, it won't be long and they will be eating YOUR lunch...

The reality is that the unemployment rate is about 20 percent and growing...The prices of food and fuel are skyrocketing and now prescription drugs are falling into the mix...

And what's your solution??? Move all the companies to China so the CEOs and stockholders can drastically increase their non-earned income and throw the deadbeats who can't find work into FEMA camps???

It's people like you who make the protesters on Wall Street look like they are doing the right thing...

I am not interested in your personal economics...I'm interested in the economics of this once great country...

“So what kind of accountability are you referring to for these folks that have no jobs to go to???”

In the general population more than half voted for the BS of Obama. Among the dipshits of OWSies I think it is safe to say the percentage is much higher. They are accountable for the current conditions.

The extreme regulations and incredibly high corporate tax rate makes it difficult to make a profit here. There is a reason big companies have gone off shore (no profit, no business) and I would think rational people would want them back here.

And yet, what is the ‘Rat party planning to do? Raise taxes on the “wealthy” and the mindless boobs in the parks love it with no comprehension that they are causing their own bad situation. Plus I very much doubt that many of the doofuses in the parks really want to work.

I do know that there are plenty of people in the general population who do want very badly to work and aren't able to find anything. What will solve that? Certainly not closing down MORE small businesses by taxing them out of existence and/or regulating them into bankruptcy.

The problems of the USA economy and jobs situation are twofold, the move to socialism in our country and competing in global competition. When Obama and his ilk refuse to let us drill for oil and gas in the USA, it is a major problem. Labor unions are destroying manufacturing, in fact, it is union labor that is directly responsible for millions of jobs going out of the country. Also, countries like India, the PRC, Russia, Brazil, Canada are beating us at our once, successful game of capitalism. Fact is, even though you may scorn me, friend, it is the fault of our liberal, left-wing buffoons, in both major political parties that is to blame. Why do you think Herman Cain has rocketed to the top of our candidate list??? Simple, he advocates massive change in the way we do business and tax our resources, measures that IMHO would rekindle our greatness and produce millions of jobs for the American people!!! Of course, you are rightfully able to disagree. I have no problem with that!!!

It just surprises me. He's always been a voice of, and, for, conservatism in the Congress. Hopefully all of this is incorrect and he's not been co-opted.

In the series of never-ending Freeper love affairs with insufficiently vetted politicans, I wish to point out again the calls for Cantor-for-president threads that appeared on FR just a few years ago.

But they never learn. Not long ago there were similar calls for presidential campaigns for Chris Christie.
