INDIANAPOLIS -- A customer standing in line at an east side Indianapolis auto parts store shot a suspected armed robber demanding cash, police said.
Investigators said John Perry fired his handgun and struck Carlos Ortiz, 21, in the leg at the Auto Zone in the 1100 block of North Arlington Avenue Saturday.

Judging from the comments, it appears that the people most likely to commit a robbery or have a relative or friend who would likely commit a robbery, the more opposed they are to crime victims being armed.
Just saying.

Indianapolis metro police spokeswoman Catherine Cummings said I would encourage anyone who finds themselves in a position where a robbery may be occurring to actually comply with what the suspect is asking for. Yeah, comply and just let them lead you into the back room. Just brilliant Ms. Police Officer!

See here now.
If crossing the border illegally was actually dangerous enough to deter folk from trying, Mr. Ortiz would still have his jump shot.
God only knows how much mayem this POS caused on his trip from the southwest up to Indiana.
As for all these illegals suing Americans when they are impeded in their illegal activities, we need a Constitutional Amendment banning lawsuits against Americans by illegal immigrants for ANY action by a citizen.

I have always been a supporter of 2nd Amendment Rights. I only ever shot a BB Gun and a .22 in my life. I had always wanted to buy a handgun for home protection, but was always hesitant, but wasn’t sure why. Well, the other day, my brother-in-law had a birthday party and he bought himself a Hi-Point .45. He asked me if I wanted to shoot it. I said *gulp* okay.
Well, I shot off a rounds and hesitant no more! I love guns now and can’t wait to get my own! Sorry this is slightly tangent, but I wanted to share.

I just love, positive (hold gun steadly / proper grip / aimed, double tap) gun control in the morning.

Welcome to the “We Love Guns” club. You will find most of us are friendly, responsible adults who will try to offer positive suggestions when you visit your local shooting range.

You need to be pretty good to aim for the head. If you miss the heart, you’ll likely hit something else pretty important.

Excellent! Thank you! I’ve already got a range picked out.

So the cops say to comply with what the suspect asks....do not resist....is that new department policy for the police as well? Not hardly. See a person doing bad things. See a weapon.....shot the bastard.

The comments from most of the sheeple witnesses is disgusting. “People shouldn’t be able to carry all these guns.”

How many cops have said that over the years? Does police training include mandatory irradiation of brain cells?
