Con Ed has given the Ground Zero mosque an ultimatum: Pay the $1.7 million you owe in back rent, or well terminate your lease and take back our property.

The Muzzies will argue it was a rent-controlled property, and the rental raise (after 40 years) was motivated by unreasonable bias. Take it to court.
Obviously Con Ed has a legal team. I wonder if there is a clause in the contract that allows increasing rent and backdating it. Seems like it would violate contract law.
Con Ed employees better check underneath their cars before starting them, from now on.
Not to worry. Obama will guarantee their loan under his needy homeowners plan.
