Huntsman to skip next Republican debate
News Daily ^ | 10/14/2011 | Reuters

Jon Huntsman, who has been mired far back in the field vying for the Republican presidential nomination, will boycott Tuesday's debate among the party's candidates to be held in Nevada, and instead hold a town hall meeting in New Hampshire.

Huntsman will skip the Nevada debate to stick up for New Hampshire, his campaign manager, Matt David, said on Friday.

The two states are among several jockeying to be first or second to hold primary elections and caucus meetings that will determine the Republican candidate to take on Democratic President Barack Obama in the November 2012 election.

Huntsman, a moderate, is staking his entire campaign on making a strong showing in the northeastern state where moderate voters play a larger role in the primary process than in other early-voting states.

My prediction: Huntsman sends his tan and the tan does better than he has at the previous debates.

Really? A state that has him at 6% in the polls is worth defending? Huntsman is a tool and no one will notice his absence.

Well then what's the point?

If The Hunster's not there, they may as well cancel the whole thing.

Mr. Hunstman: pick up your toys and go home. Save your money.

Yup - that'll teach 'em! LOL - like he will even be missed. The four who are squawking about boycotting are so far back in the polls that they really don't matter.

Stay away, Jon. We don’t need to hear your snarky, lame attempts at (”price of a pizza” — yuk, yuk..) humor. Just one less establishment “moderate” on the stage.

Jon Huntsman never had a chance. The guy is a leftist hippie freak, Hussein’s chosen ambassador to Communist China.

If he decides to run third party, or whatever his sponsors have in mind, I doubt that he will pull away more Republican votes than Democrat.

Oh that Huntsman...I think maybe I might have heard of him, too bad, I hadn’t noticed him in the debates before, but I’m sure someone somewhere will miss him.

He’s going all in on New Hampshire, so he may as well suck up to them.

Good.

His smart alec cheap shots to other candidates have no place. Neither does his smarmy used car salesman style.

I only wonder if Ron Paul will have another ‘eyebrow malfunction’. That was the weirdest thing I ever saw.. :-)

Other than those two, I want to hear more from the others.

Tragedy, a real tragedy. (Sarcasm)

Maybe he should run in a primary against Obama.

“Moderate” my eye. The guy is a liberal. He might as well switch parties and compete with Obama for the Democratic nomination.

That was Paul’s eyebrow? I thought it was the fried egg that is his brain trying to seep out.
