She thinks Mitt and Romney are the only options and she prefers Mitt

I thought they were the same person.

BOR and Coulter’s day is coming to an end.

He's already lost at least one book sale because of his incessant Cain bashing.

Coulter has also dismissed Cain. She thinks Mitt and Romney are the only options and she prefers Mitt.

At one point in time Coulter hailed as a conservative. Now she's merely a weird anorexic.

Make or break time for Palin.

She disappointed a lot of people (me included) by not running.

Now well see whether she’s just “preserving the brand” or whether she truly wants the best for the country.

Endorse Cain or get off the pot Sarah.

When you add up his accomplishments in his life — including reaching the top of three unrelated industries: information systems, business management, and banking — Herman Cain may have the most impressive resume of anyone that has run for the presidency in the last half century.

I would agree with that. Of all our recent presidents, only Ronald Reagan compares with respect to what he achieved prior to being president. Going back further, you have Dwight Eisenhower, who due to his spectacular military career, is in a class all by himself.

Is anyone really all that excited about Mitt though? He always hovers in the low 20s in the polls and no one seems particularly passionate about his candidacy.

Oh, we have some here at F.R. that are "passionate" about the liberal Mitt Romney, mostly his coreligionists but for the most part, they have learned to keep their pie holes shut about it.

I want Herman Cain to run and win to rub Affirmative Action in the CBC’s collective nose. I want Herman Cain to run and win to rub every false and contrived accusation of “Racism” in the NAALCP (thanks Rush) collective noses when a true, intelligent, patriotic, God fearing, Bible believing, self made black man crushes their stereotype of victimhood. I want Herman Cain to win to make Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton and Barbara Lee and Maxine Waters and Shelia Jackson Lee and Elijah Cunning go absolutely apoplectic and foam at the mouth on National TV so hard that they are involuntarily committed. I want Herman Cain to run to show Professor Cornel West that he is living in a nation where his Marxism and total hatred for this country has come to naught.

I hope we can, by example, show the African American community, that we too judge a person not by the color of their skin, but the content of their character.

I see your points and generally agree. And for sure, it is NOT in the bag yet for Cain, things are in fact fluid with a much different news cycle than anything we have ever seen in Presidential electoral politics, anything could happen, but certainly Gov. Perry, bless him, is the big disappointment, and now I am sure even ROMNEY is just starting to get the Hershey Squirts.

I think if Cain came out for replacing politicians retirements with 401Ks, he’d really have ‘em screaming and probably run away in the polls. (Later on he could aim for the judicial and other appointee’s pensions.)

If those bozos’ retirement were at risk in the real world like most of us, they might take care as to what kind of laws they pass. Right now, as long as the taxpayers foot the bill, they are insulated.

Romney will be stuck at 22-23% for the rest of the race for the nomination process. He can’t win.

"Herman Cain may have the most impressive resume of anyone that has run for the presidency in the last half century. ."

I think this fact is the cause of his rise in the polls. The more people become acquainted with his background, the more they, like I am, are impressed. I think, based on what I have heard, that he is exactly the kind of person we need for president. The business of this Nation is Business. If businesses don't thrive, taxes aren't paid for the politicians to spend. Its that simple.

From Rush today. He likes Cain but doesn’t think he can keep up with Romney $$ wise to compete.

I hope he’s wrong. I’m voting for him in the primary regardless.

Then I vote for the Republican nominee. Whoever. Cost of O way too high.

“Michelle Bachmann is a little closer to the grind because her business interests are smaller, but she sounds like Perry and Cain when it comes to management.”

If you have read ANY articles on Bachmann’s staffing issues, you’d know she is NOT a good manager. She cant run a good campaign, doesnt know how to keep right levels of authority. For that reason, she will not be the nominee.

You are correct that Perry has been underestimated wrt his executive experience. Cain, Romney and Perry will be Reagan-style delegators. Gingrich may be a bit less disciplined, he’s overflowing with ideas. He needs to learn from Steve Jobs, who had a few main projects. focus!

If only true registered republicans voted in the primaries you might be correct. There appears to be no Democrat challenger to resident Obama so there is nothing to keep the democrat-disruptors from choosing the Republican candidate. Add to that the liberal media will most likely cheer on Mitt and frown at Cain. Romney has way more money and an organization of feet on the ground. I think the primary is still a long shot for Cain.

Don't get me wrong - it is not impossible and I sure do not want Mitt, but Cain must keep momentum and avoid the big mistake to have a real chance.

one tidbit. Eisenhower was the last Republican endorsed by the NY Slimes (not that it matters)

“Gov. Perry, bless him, is the big disappointment, and now I am sure even ROMNEY is just starting to get the Hershey Squirts.”

Agreed, Perry is a big disappointment so far. But if he ever learns how to debate, there’s still time to turn his fortunes around. The thing is-before I thought it was Perry’s race to lose, cause he was becoming the “anti-Romney” candidate. Now I think it’s Cain’s to lose. I don’t think he really hurt himself at the last debate, and if he keeps picking up steam, he could be the guy.

As for Romney being worried, I honestly think that establishment types like Romney live in their own bubble. I don’t think he’s worried, cause he figures if Cain is his main competitor, he can swamp him with money and organization. I really, truly think these establishment people, even after the elections last November, simply don’t get the mood of most GOP voters. After McLame and Dole, we are simply not willing to accept another RINO retread simply because it’s “his turn.” We’ve had it with that kind of crap. Many of us will not accept Romney under any circumstances.
