Protestors [sic] are assembling in New York and around the country to let billionaires, big oil and big bankers know that were not going to let the richest 1% force draconian economic policies and massive cuts to crucial programs on Main Street Americans.
Out-of-touch Republican Majority Leader Eric Cantor said he is increasingly concerned by the growing mobs. Mobs? That must be what Republicans refer to as the middle class, or maybe the millions of unemployed Americans across the country.
As Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi told reporters, The message of the American people is that no longer will the recklessness of some on Wall Street cause massive joblessness on Main Street
Send a message straight to Eric Cantor, Speaker Boehner, and the rest of reckless Republican leadership in Congress:
Sign our petition right now and help us reach 100,000 strong standing with Occupy Wall Street protestors [sic] across the country!
(Excerpt) Read more at dccc.org ...
Only 99,700 to go!
lol
Let them own it.
The takers are out in full force hoping the givers will give them something for nothing.
PS. Don’t forget your waste bucket and shovel.
100,000? If they get that far they will have mobilized about 3/100 of one percent of the population.
Mob rule. Very ugly.
OK Let me try and understand this.
The Dems who take more money from Wall street than the GOP are now protesting Wall street.
OK Maybe it’s me but that does not even make sense.
Ok next point.
The Dems are supporting the demo are the same Dems which did bailouts to certain places.
Ok that does not make sense.
OK next point the Dems are getting the unions out. OK but do the unions not have 401k’s and therefore they need Wall street.
That does not make sense.
Infact does any of this make sense, no direct message, different groups protesting different issues.
Zero has made this economy worse but he supports the demo.
Zero took more money from Wall street but he supports the demo.
Zero did the bailouts but he supports the demo.
Zero just had a 35 gran dinner off Wall street but he supports the demo.
None of this makes sense and for these scabby smelly fools to be there not having a shower, getting clean and living in filth is sick.
Now the Dems support violence, arrests, crapping on cop cars, shouting anti Jewish comments, shouting kill the cops.
These Dems are really brilliant. Most of these wall street execs own a copy of MyPC. You can actually work at your office from home. lol.
"Go ahead PUNK, MAKE MY DAY!"
Occupiers creating clashes with police, disrupting traffic and other mayhem. Contrast this carp with the truly peaceful and orderly Tea Party getherings who even leave the premises nearly spotless afterwards. So who are the ‘terrorists’ old Joe?
LOL. Love it. Link this with the thread: Occupy Wall Street has "WHIFF" of 1960s and we have the makings of FReeper Signalman's prediction:
I predict that the street rabble of 2011 will do for Obama what the street rabble of 1972 did for McGovern.
1972 election results:
Nixon: 572 electoral Votes (won 49 states)
McGovern: 17 electoral votes (won 1 state and D.C.)
Damn. It's got a 'Whiff' all right.
It is going to turn ugly. Many of the occupiers will get sick and probably spread who knows what kind of infections! Its gorgeous weather now. Just wait.
Yep. the masks are just about all the way off now. Won't be much longer.
I think the TEA Party should occupy Pelosi’s front yard.
“Now the Dems support violence, arrests, crapping on cop cars, shouting anti Jewish comments, shouting kill the cops.”
Yep, pretty much.
I once read something along the lines that a government can survive only for as long as the producers are protected from the takers. We seem to be approaching a tipping point in that regard.
STEVE MARTIN: Lets repeat the Non-Conformist Oath. I promise to be different!
AUDIENCE: I promise to be different.
STEVE MARTIN: I promise to be unique.
AUDIENCE: I promise to be unique.
STEVE MARTIN: I promise not to repeat things other people say.
AUDIENCE: I promise [Dissolves into nervous laughter.]
STEVE MARTIN: Good!
Sounds like Atlas Shrugged.
Is there a shortage of tear gas I’m unaware of? :-)
