Approval Index Ping.
Not unexpected.
But to help make you feel better: Gallup: "Obama's September Approval Rating Remains at Term-Low 41%"
“A person on FOX this morning said he predicts Obama will win again..”
Was it Dick Morris ?
I hope so - he never gets anything right.
Waiting for 60% Total Disapprove coming soon...
Given the current crop of Republican "front runners", I think he is right.
We were in this situation back in 1980. The Republicans nominated a bold alternative, rather than a "moderate".
Herman Cain is not perfect, but he's probably the only one that can beat Obama.
To me, the good news underlying these numbers is the 20% strongly approve figure. That’s been very consistent and really reflects the part of society that is lost to reason, including those who are motivated by race, those who are clearly ideologically socialist/communist, those who are motivated by resentment, and those who feel entitled to and want government handouts.
This means that we haven’t yet reached the point at which leftist outcomes are assured by pure demographics. That point could, however, come if we don’t stem the tide of targeted immigration, the growth of government programs and dependency, and if we don’t strongly refute the blanket acceptance within minority communities that the issues they face are not caused by white or rich people keeping them down.
I think you are right about Cain but I don’t think people will vote for him since he is black..They will think we are getting another Obama..I am talking about the people that do not follow the candidates and read about them...maybe afraid of voting for Cain since Obama promised the world and gave nothing to the people..They will compare Cain to that..
I saw that Dr. Allan Lichtman (American U. History professor) was on Fox. I don't know what he said this time, because I normally have the sound "off". In the past he's predicted that Obama will win because he has a model that predicts that Obama will win and has never been wrong (yet). The last time it was discussed here, it sounded like he was interpreting his own model incorrectly, and that was before "Occupy Wall Street" riots and before the last couple of Obama administration scandals. I think the Kool-Aid flows thickly in Lichtman's veins. Maybe it's the DC water.
Lichtman is a far left liberal who simply assigns his keys to the White House in such a way to claim Hussein will win re-election. First, his theory is probably complete bunk. Second, it is all based on how his subjective interpretation of whether Obama has the keys. For example, I believe he claims the current administration is scandal free at a time when Fast and Furious and Solyndra are blowing up in their faces. Hussein may win re-election, but Lichtman's predictions for why are nonsense and not predictive of the outcome.
LLet the deluded ‘BELIEVE’ BHO is not headed for another unexpected failure to be re-elected. Keeps the rest of the anti-BO forces motivated.
That’s enough for one day.
Thank you.
They will not vote for Cain because he is black in order to keep a President who is both incompetent and black?
Sorry but that is just absurd reasoning.
I wouldn’t have said it quite as succinctly as Johnnie, but I do agree the reasoning is flawed. That one issue shouldn’t be a barrier.
All of my comments were removed from many posts today by Moderator, all I did was ask people to read about Texas District 14 Congress Candidate. I guess we can no longer have free speech or opinions on FR. Sadly. Been here since 1998 and I have never seen this before.
What's needed is somebody who will excite Republicans enough to get out and vote. Somebody who actually has something to say. No more bland "It's my turn" candidates.
43%. That's the number that should shock people - that it's so high. Makes him tough to beat.
