Just a matter of process. He’s established his defense in writing, and will now until the end of time say “as I said.....”, or “you have misconstrued my statement”, whatever. It’s a point of focus to redirect future inquiries, and allegations. It’s an obstacle for use in his defense.

According to FOX news (the FIVE) the adminstration just made another Friday night document dump of FOIA eMails.
Sounded as if they were mostly Solyndra. It wasn’t clear because they were talking about Fast & Furious and Solyndra pretty much in the same time frame.
